A One Night Stand With a Yorkie, there is no such thing as a "One Night Stand!" When you take them to bed with you, they sleep with you for the rest of their lives. |

Indeed.... I found myself sleeping in odd positions many times. -_-; Isn't it amazing how such little body takes up SO MUCH SPACE?! |
You guys are too funny! lol |
And if you decide to sleep alone heaven forbid!!! Spice will stand outside the bedroom door and cry and whine til I let her in! LOL |
Can't believe we all sleep with our dogs! Many people would think we are VERY strange. But who cares about them??? lol |

Funny you should mention this.... sometimes my fur baby sleeps in her bed., but when I do get up and go to bathroom and return to my bed... Sometimes I find her laying in the middle of my bed; with that look of "where you laying?".... lol. She cracks me up! |

My boy better be in the bed, I can't sleep unless I feel that precious little body of his pressed against me. |
My 2 allow me to sleep with them. I have a queen bed, husband works out of town a lot, & still I have no room. It wouldn't matter if it was a king bed because 1 sleeps on one side & 1 sleeps on the other - right up tight against me where it is only possible to turn over (with my needing to adjust them), but certainly no "rolling over"! I can't sleep without them though. |
I would sleep with Troy but Emma can't be trusted while we are sleeping. She gets insominia or something and goes to play with her squeaker toys and likes to bark at whatever noise she hears. So to let me get some sleep, she goes in her crate at night. If she was better, I wouldn't mind sleeping with her. She's not much of a snuggler either, she sleeps at the end of the bed, when I'm up or laying on the bed relaxing. |
Anyone freak out in the middle of the night to a sudden "digging" in the bed? I think the worst was when Magnus moved up to the pillow and decided to dig there. |
You guys are all so funny. :) Wouldn't be surprised to find out there are more women sleeping with their dogs than there are women sleeping with their man. LOL :D:D:D |

Ok, how do you guys manage to let your little ones sleep with you and not stay awake all night worrying about rolling over on them!!! I am scared to death Zoey won't survive a night in my bed.......and I am a size 6 (barely). I just can't stay that still while I sleep. If it makes any difference Zoey weighs 2-1/2 pounds. Also, all she wants to do is jump around and play all night. Well, I guess I should leave well enough alone and let Zoey get her beauty sleep alone ! |

My first Yorkie went like this.... I brought home a 9 year old Yorkie who needed a home. I pretty much beg my husband to forgive me for not really asking permission, but he would have gone to the pound if I hadn't brought him home with me. My husband looks down at this little dog that is standing up and pawing at his legs for attention and says to him "You are cute, but you are her new dog, so go bug her." He looks at me and says it is fine that I brought him home but he is NOT sleeping in our bed. I agree to his terms. That was a Thursday night. Thursday night into a crate (large enough for a 50 lb dog) he went and he slept without a peep. Friday night, same thing, not a peep out of the yorkie, in fact by this point we were questioning if he knew how to bark as all he did was squeal when I would come into the room. Saturday night my husband says he is tired and going to bed at like 8:30! He left me with taking out both dogs, my new Yorkie and his 80 lb dog. Left me to turn everything off, lock up, etc. I go down about 9:45 to find him playing a video game. I go and get my Yorkie and put him on the bed with me so I can check facebook and stuff and then I get tired and I tell my husband "When you go up to the use the bathroom when you are done playing, put the dog in his crate for the night." The crate was right outside the bathroom. I wake up at 9:30 the next morning with that Yorkie still curled up against my leg!!!! My husband said he was so cute curled up asleep with me that he just couldn't pull him out of bed to put him in a crate. He still sleeps with me a year later! Then we bring home the puppy (Yorkie) and my husband wanted to put him in bed with us the first night! I told him when he is a little more house broken he can. He spent about 2 weeks in a crate next to our bed and my husband loves it when he curls up with him instead of with me. He is warmer at night so he has an advantage over me to get the dogs to go cuddle with him. Yup, let them sleep with you once and they will sleep with you forever! |
