| Spice will not eat from bowl! She is such a funny little girl. She has never eaten from her food bowl, I have to dump it on her place mat. She has been like this for several months now. Anyone else have this problem? |

| Too funny! Max was afraid of his stainless steel shallow bowl. I substituted small salad plates from an old dinnerware set we had and he loved it, so that is what we use. Teddy used to take kibble to his bed.

| Well I will buy a couple of cat dishes and use as both her food and water bowl are stainless steel. She has no problem drinking from her stainless bowl but she sure wont eat from it. Such a little stinker! LOL |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I use small tart bowls for my 4 - the bowls are very low profile (low rim)...maybe try...?

| My girl was afraid of her reflection in the shiny stainless bowl. I got one with a matt finish (no reflection) and she isn't afraid of that one. |

| Sometimes they are afraid of their tags clinking on the bowl.

| I have a 12 year old Toy Fox Terrier who is the same way. Only eats off a flat surface. Will starve himself before he'll eat from a bowl. He also won't eat for the dog sitter unless she hand feeds him. Needless to say we never use a boarding facility when we go somewhere. Have to have someone come stay at our house. Drinks just fine from a bowl. The stinker. |
