I saw your new post! Welcome back to you too! So glad to hear that you kept your litter of kittens! I have way too many of my own to keep any of mine! They are fun but my plate is full and mine are from feral cats that keep showing up here! I have spent more time at my vets office in the past few months spaying and neutering than I'd like not to mention the expense of that and flea meds and wormer...I am more of a dog person but do not have the heart to turn any hungry animal away. Fortunately my rescue is allowing me to post and show my kittens but I have to pay for everything out of pocket until they get adopted. One of my feral is a black female that I call October. I had to trap and crate her for a couple of mos. so that I could have her spayed. Lucky for me that I have the facilities to do that. Have your kitties spayed and neutered as soon as they are ready or you will end up with more. My problem is that we live in an area where people dump their animals and most of my cats are fed outdoors so we feed everything that comes up and they don't leave. Big mistake I know but no way I can keep cats in my house with my dogs or my mom. If you feed outdoors you will have more show up too! Needless to say we have no mice and that is a good thing considering we have 2 barns full of hay! Talk to you soon... |
I too, live in an area with lots of abandoned cats, it's a shame! Our kittens are already fixed, wormed and vaccinated! My vet is great, and they aren't too expensive. Being that we are avid Sons of Anarchy fans, my kittens are Teller, Chibs and Gemma! LOL.. As soon as I get home and up on my laptop, I will have to post some pics to give you all an update!!!!!
I am NOT a cat person either, but these guys have my heart! |
