Parchment Paper Question? I was wanting to know from those who have experience in wrapping coats or whom wrap coats is parchment paper good for wrapping or msut I say can it be used for wrapping. I want to know. Thanks you. |
Also, where do you get it????? |
You can find parchment paper at up-scale kitchen stores. Maybe also at Cooking.com. Don't know about wrapping. |
Wal-Mart has parchment paper, so does Kroger and most large grocery stores. Look in the section where aluminum foil, plastic wrap and zip lock bags are sold. Please post a picture of your baby once you have his coat wrapped and let us know how the wrapping process went. thanks |

I guess I am really new at this, What does wraping their coat in parchment paper do? I have never heard of this? |
Unless you plan to show and unless your York-baby has silky coat, you might find that the wrapping gets old in a hurry.. Especialy if you have other pets that will pull the wrappers and damage the coat.. |

 Is parchement paper the same as wax paper. Can anyone tell me. |
paper What ever type you use, be sure the edge is soft. The edge will rub against the top of the unwrapped hair and break it off like a razor...parchment is a very firm type isn't it...wax is thin..but still too stiff for me. A box of deli wrap is cheap. Deli wrap is the type that bakers pick up pastries with...more tissue type. |
Pat, will perm papers work or are they too flimsey? |
Yes... Perm tissue is soft, but may be to flimsy if you can not fold it over a few times. |
