from breeders I know, they wrap only in silk paper:confused:
Depends on the coat texture and coat density.....I use both, some in silk, others in plastic wraps.

could you explain for wich coat the silk paper is better??
I would be wery thankful if you could indicate me to a picture of plastic wraps? since I dont know what plastic wrap means in latvian:D maybe I cuold understan wich one is it if I see it:)

I use silk for a silk coat with not as much density, plastic wraps don't hold as well on those coats. I do prefer plastic wraps as they do stay cleaner. But, they do work better with thicker coats. Either way wraps should be taken down daily and rewrapped.

wow! It was totally worth registrating in this site!!
I have never heard someone wraping yokies in plastic wrap (the same that we use in the kitchen????:confused:) for coat!! Every one in my country wraps only in silk paper.
Im gona tryout the plastic wrap :)want to see the results!!

The plastic wrap isnt slyding of the coat if its oily (I use requal biovit oil for wraping)??

Not the same as what you use in the kitchen, it's a bit thicker. However, what is great is they are reuseable. Just wash, rinse and hang to dry. I've had a package of a hundred that I bought 5 years ago.

Yes, it's fine to oil, since you take them down daily. I've never heard of the oil you use.....but, I'm sure it's fine.

requal is good :)i like it and right now its very popular in Latvia, Russia. It smells nice and makes the coat silky, glossy.

Only - I dont know if the plastic wraps are in Latvia or the region :(
And the silk paper costs bizarre high!! its 5Ls or 10 $ for several sheats!!! soo I have to buy new ones every 2 weeks.

I have idea of trying to wrap Pipys coat in silk (fabric)...:bulb: not cheap, but good...natural silk makes the hair silky and naturally glosy:)
