So....my DH despises any type of snake. A few summers ago, a small grass snake crawled into the house. (I was cleaning and had the back door open). Of course, Rin and Tyson spotted the snake just as it was about to slither under my husband's chair. I jumped up, yelled "snake" and the dogs were going nuts. My husband, bless his heart, was just sitting in the chair, kicking his feet, and screaming like a little girl. I grabbed the pups and locked them in the bathroom. I took a mop and scooped the snake up and deposited him into the front yard. Ol snake had a few bite marks but was still alive. The thought still cracks me up:D:D:D |

Yup, Yorkies are hunter killers! I have a friend with a Jack Russell that was one heck of a snake killer. Bella has not encountered one that I know of yet. |
Black racer snake Hi everyone, i came across a post that was so close to my heart I joined to give some answers. My mentally ill son took a light blue canadian gander (never saw one like this black chin strap and put it in my attic. We knew something was up there in a ranch style home but they are ferral and could never find a thing he was extremely clean too. It was about a year when I heard him sliding down the ice and somehow getting into the attic = put sand down and 3 days later a huge foot print. He then started to come out and fly over our yard. He always roosted on a pond in the same park stolen from. I heard his mate being killed by something she did sing a song brief and made a noise 2x he was back in 5 minutes too late. It was freezing we had a camcorder up there so cold it ruind it. He walked with her for an entire week not a feather left on her. When I went up the gosslings were frozen to the walls. This was the beginning of a nightmare. He got gangrene and was screaming I go up the ladder and at least 50 turkey vultures eating the leg and the rest of him. Now the vultures found my attic. New roof, more geese. Then my son let go of black snakes I want you to no that one got so big he was unable to turn in my 30 by 30 ft attic. that day ate a goose, gander, turkey vulture full grown and small turkey vulture. So if you see a snake TAKE THE HEAD OFF THEY WILL EAT ANYTHING DONT TRUST IT AND DONT BELIEVE O THEY ARE GOOD THE ONLY GOOD SNAKE IS A DEAD ONE. |
