| You can start by looking at vets on Angies List, looking at their reviews, and then start that long process of elimination!! When all else fails, you have three top rated vet schools in Ok...in case of emergency, you can always go to a vet school, which is actually a great idea.....they have the best, most up to date equipment, and all your different "systems" are under one roof. If I was starting out looking for a vet, I would contact dog breeders in your area and see what vet they use..... |

| I know of a good vet in Duncan, but that is quite a drive from where you are at.

| Thank you for the suggestions. I got my little Yorkie out of a bad situation. Her poor teeth are terrible, she has lost 3 on the bottom. I just want to get her proper care and need to find a good Vet sap. Last edited by jreeves1; 08-24-2015 at 12:01 PM. Reason: spelled wrong |

| Be sure any vet you select, is knowledgeable, specifically, on the care of Yorkies...there are things in vet medicine that you just avoid in Yorkies that is acceptable in other breeds, even other small breeds. There are anesthesias that Yorkies can not tolerate, that do well for other breeds...just be sure your vet is knowledgeable about yorkies..you can ask if the vet has a large yorkie clientele. |
