| Rescue Remedy and other Bach Flower Remedies My apologies as this has likely been asked and answered but I thought I would get an update from people - how do people feel about Rescue Remedy for their Yorkies? I also use Aspen and Mimulus for Tess who is afraid and nervous around traffic (but getting soooo much better). Also give her Melatonin. It's tough to know if any of these actually have a calming effect on her as we have been working hard on counter-conditioning and desensitization ... All thoughts welcome and thanks in advance everyone! |

| Bubba is afraid of thunder and lightening. I have tried multiple things, something he chewed?, thunder shirt and rescue remedy. Nothing seems to completely work, he may be just a little calmer but still trembles and pants. Right now we are working on applauding and cheering for the thunder and lightening and telling him how beautiful it is. Ps rescue remedy doesn't work on me either!

| Thanks, margaritaville, I also use the ThunderShirt but, right now in Toronto, it 's simply too hot to put it on but I do think that that makes a difference. Is Bubba named after the golfer???? Thanks for the reply! Pats to Bubba from me. and hellos from Tess. |

| That is Bubba in my avatar. He is not named after the golfer but somebody famous. Bubba is Jimmy Buffett's nickname and we love JB.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | We use lots of similar remedies at the shelter, and I do think they can help.
