I think this is an awwww thing rather than an ewwww thing.

When I had my 3 pack and walked them on salted city streets all 3 would be picking paws up, I would rush them home, bathe their paws to remove the salt. I see nothing ewwwwww about what you did. Living now in the country when it snows Mr Cody does not get a daily walk due to salted roads, deck or back yard use only.

Ok, I used to bite Teddy's paw to aggravate him when he was little but he never reacted so I quit..lol!


Licking it, now, would be totally disgusting! I sometimes kiss his mouth but that is RARE more often the side of his muzzle which is still contaminated ..haha.


SO, I'm kinda gross in various ways, I guess!!!

Cookie still does that to me all the time. She always kisses me after her meals or after mine, I guess to share the flavor of dinner, which is fine now I guess that she doesn't eat her poop anymore. :yelrotflm

I don't let him kiss me on the mouth just everywhere else on my face and I kiss his ears I think licking is ew I couldn't do that to him!

dogs licking people is very common, but people licking dogs kind of bazaar IMO
