So w/ Benadryl, I always think it's good to share the info: the dose is 1-2mg per pound; my Vet Derm actually prefers the 2mg/pound dosage.
So for your kiddo - this would be 5-10mg. If you took a 25mg pill and cut it in fourths, you'd have 8.25mg pills then - right in the middle of the 1-2mg/pound dosage - perfect! |
