This is just horrible.

I remember when I lived in Virginia, I was working as a Vet Tech and this woman came running into the office with a small Chi. Her 5 yr old son had put it in the Micro Wave and turned it on. Saying he was trying to keep it warm.

Needless to say the Chi didn't make it.

What in the world makes people do things like this??

I wish I hadn't read it. I just can't imagine that kind of cruelty. That poor puppy and his owner. I don't think I could ever get over thinking about one of my babies suffering that way.

It's a horrible story. The State's Attorney asked for a $1,000,000 bond, and the judge granted a $250,000 bond, which is about the same as what would be granted in a human murder case, so at least the judge is taking this case very seriously. Maybe it will discourage others from trying this.

I can't read the article right now, I just can't....but I do appreciate you posting it and I always think we need to continue to create awareness of these things so that justice continues to evolve and get better.

I hope karma does what it should do :(:mad::(:mad:.

If you're the least bit squeamish, DON'T read the story. The puppy didn't make it. If I were the ex-boyfriend, I would be devastated.

How Horrible!!

When a child does something like this, they say they will have leanings towards being a serial killer. This was an adult :confused: I didn't read the story.

I wish I had not read this, the thought of that poor lil innocent dog in a oven just sickens me. What would happen if her child won't stop crying, does the child go in a hot oven. This senseless abuse of poor defenseless animals has to stop. Stiffer laws have to be placed for ppl that torture and abuse animals, if jail / prison time is placed on ppl like this, maybe the next sicko that wants to abusive an animal will think twice.

Yes, I agree, normally, I do have sympathy for people who have true mental illness, they often think they are doing something good in their acts of horror, but in this case, she just wanted to make her boyfriend mad and I hope they punish the hell out of her.

She has a child by him and she's pregnant with another child, if she'd do that to a dog, I think she'd do the same to a child.

It is unimaginable what people will do when they are angry at another person; what lengths they will go to to hurt that person. This incident was horrible, that someone would deliberately make another living being, a baby puppy yet, suffer to such a degree. I feel so bad for that puppy, the way he must have suffered. Like others have said, I would hate to see what this woman would do to her child when she gets mad at it. I hope CPS finds sufficient evidence to take her child and new baby away from her.

Didn't read the article. I can't right now. Suffice to say that I have the same response to her as I did to the football player that kicked the pup to death. No remorse. Anyone who can do that to a completely loving, innocent animal deserves nothing. No emotion. Kill this beast before it does more damage to innocent creatures be it human or otherwise.

I couldn't read it but I believe that this is a very dangerous person. I recently saw a story on the ID channel where a family member put a woman's two beloved parakeets in the oven and killed them. Then they later murdered the woman. Sick people out there.

Ok. I am totally new here. This is the first place I found to write a question. If the 14 week old puppy has short legs will it have shorter legs as an adult? I like her short legs and hope they stay that way. Thank you for any replies.

By 14 weeks, the legs have completed most of their growth, although they could grow a little more until the growth plates have closed around 8 months of age.

I know the feeling, had it when two state troopers were ambushed coming out of the police barracks several miles from where I live, one was killed the other wounded. Sickos live all over.

That's what I thought too. Maybe all the people that she knows or associates with think or act like her so she thought she would be better off with a jury. Hopefully she will get a jury of all animal lovers who want to bake her!
