Lately, I've been very disappointed in the verdicts of some trials, I hope we get justice with this as well as teaching the lesson that you don't get revenge on someone by torturing their pet.

I would believe her children are in danger of this woman! they need to be taken into proctiive custody.If she has such severe mental illness she needs to be locked away and the key thrown out!!!

The woman is in jail awaiting trial--she didn't post the $250,000 bond. The father has custody of the children, and there is no way he will ever let her anywhere near them.

That's a relief, I've been more than a little upset with the court system lately and have lost some confidence in it. Even in this case, her lack of bond money may be the only thing protecting her children. Anyone who would do this is extremely dangerous.

I couldn't get myself to read the article as the title alone made my blood boil. But considering how horrible her actions were, would the law allow to keep her kids even if she did make bail???

I remember long time ago reading about some mother doing something similar to her toddler b/c "he wouldn't shut up".

I would hope not, but the goal is usually to have parents back with their children as soon as possible, so a few anger management classes and she might be good to go. She didn't do this for any bizarre reason, like she thought the dog was processed, she did it for revenge, and to me that's just plain evil, but the law sees it differently than I do!

Yeah.. some laws are just so outdated. As for "revenge"... Keying his car is revenge. Breaking his windows is revenge. Pouring sugar in his gas tank is revenge. She took a LIFE. That's more than just revenge. There's few screws loose in her head.

Can you imagine her having kids?????
