I hope she doesn't walk. He testified "I'm not for sure it was her". |
Trial update 2: Owner of dead puppy doesn't want puppy killer jailed :-( Owner of dead puppy fails to identify his girlfriend as the puppy killer, but admits that she threw the dog across the room the month before. From the article: "I'm not for sure it was her," he testified in a low, quiet voice. Zander explained that he had dated Redmon for 3 1/2 years and that they have a daughter in common, who is now a little more than a year old. "She's the mother of my child. Of course, I don't want to see anything bad happen to her," Zander said in response to questions from Assistant State's Attorney Scott Larson. Zander said he also told Urbana police about an incident a month earlier between Redmon and the puppy. "She thought I was paying more attention to the dog than her. She picked it up and threw him across the room," Zander said. WARNING: GRAPHIC DETAILS IN THE ARTICLE BELOW. Updated: Dog's owner testifies in puppy-in-oven case | News-Gazette.com |

dog Sad about that post. My Lord does not sleep. He sees and knows all. This person will burn in hell for that despicable act. Hope there is repentance someday. Just a freak of a person. |
I honestly couldn't read it. It breaks My heart how people treat animals. I wish there were higher fines and an animal abuse registry where they would be flagged anytime they tried to adopt and they not be allowed to ever have an animal again. |
Trial update, day 2. Evidence against puppy killer is mounting. Here is the link to the article summarizing day 2 of the trial. It contains even more graphic descriptions of how the puppy suffered, so do not read it if you are at all squeamish: GRAPHIC DETAILS IN THE ARTICLE BELOW: Veterinary pathologist: 'This would be extreme pain' | News-Gazette.com A veterinary expert testified as to how much the puppy suffered, and how long it might have taken to die in the oven (anywhere from 2 minutes to 2 hours). The prosecution presented a taped jail phone call where Redmon admits that she put the puppy in the oven. Also, there is video surveillance footage of Redmon at Carle Hospital, from where she phoned her boyfriend and told him she put his puppy in the oven. |
oh gawd, just from reading from posts here that he was kind of "failing" in saying his girlfriend did it, just tells me he is having second thoughts on the premises that his girlfriend and him have a daughter together (if not a strong bond between them). After reading the post that mentions they have proof of her confession to the crime, this confirms it. That guy needs to get it that, that kind of "person" needs either some serious mental help or needs to be incarcerated. On one hand, I can understand his hesitation since it seems she's still considered a "loved" one or at least someone that's considered an important part of his life, but at the same time this is a sick crime. There is no excuse nor justification for what that woman did (I agree with other posts that destruction of property is a better vengeance/justification than taking an innocent life), and here is where personal feelings must be put aside and justice must be dealt. And I don't pity him for his situation, because he's pretty much saying by his word and action that he's willing to allow/defend such a person not only into his life but into his child's life and he's bringing that all on himself! It's tough when it's someone you love or have a strong bond with (in one form or another), but you have to put aside that feeling when that other person done something so terribly wrong. |

WARNING: THE FOLLOWING LINK CONTAINS GRAPHIC DESCRIPTIONS OF ANIMAL CRUELTY: Updated: Jury deliberating in case of accused puppy killer | News-Gazette.com Summary: The jury is now deliberating in the case of the woman accused of putting her boyfriend's puppy in an oven. I knew that as soon as the bf changed his story from what he told the police to what when he said in court that he couldn't specifically say that his ex-gf said she put the puppy in the oven that the gf was going to walk. At that point, there was no way to prove that she did it. The other thing I thought was fishy was why did the plaintiff's atty not ask the gf straight out, did you put the puppy in the oven? Something is definitely wrong with that picture. |
Omgoodness. I'm stunned. Boyfriend is an idiot! If this witch can throw the puppy across the room, put one in the oven, what does he think she will do to their child/children??????? Maybe they deserve each other, but for goodness sakes, sterilize the witch so she can't reproduce any longer! ! ! ! |
Hopefully, since this woman's name (Kinny Redmon) is now public knowledge, she will be ostracized wherever she goes. If karma really exists, something bad is waiting for this woman. |
