Bret Farve (Quarterback) has a yorkie. When our darling Gina had to be euthanized my husband cried and refused to have it done. He wanted to take her home to hold her all night and then bring her back the next day. She had a stroke and was brain dead and it took all the reasoning I could give to let her go. It was so sad. She was his special girl and he loved her so.

Proud to say that I am a manly kinda guy who is fully in love with and at least somewhat controlled by my new furbutt. I have had everything from Chiahuahuas to Dobies. As for Yorkies, you get all of that terrier mayhem in a small little package. Gotta love em!

More guys with small dogs than I thought on here. Awesome. Well, here's my 2 babies... one is a yorkie other is a morkie. They're sitting on my motorcycle ready for a ride. :D

We have 2 yorks and I show them off every chance I get. Toni likes to dress them up and that doesn't bother me at all. The only line I draw is that I won't push them in the stroller she bought.

"Ninja" terriers! Love it!

That is so cute. I have a friend on Yelp that also is a guy, with a street bike, and a yorkie that posed for a pic on it. Though he says he doesn't dare take them on a ride with him.

I draw the line at a stroller too. But I'm a female. :D Once Toto has had enough walking I just carry him. He's only 5 lbs, and the longest walks we do are 2 miles so not a big deal.

I'm much more at home in the woods than a city street but I enjoy my time with our yorkie. Gucci was a great lil walking buddy! He did attract the ladies as well. He'd play in the mud, walk on a frozen pond, chased ducks, squirrels and crows. He was great company while in the local parks looking for mushrooms and other things of interest. Weighing in at about 4 1/2 pounds made it that much more impressive for me. I wish we had gotten him much earlier in his life so there would have been more quality time.

Crystal has been my mistress for two years now. I love our walks along the seashore together, really special times for both of us.

She shares my entire life from awaking with her licking my nose, to deciding when it's time I go to bed and she loves the cars too.

This weekend Holly joins us!

I am a male and have a Yorkie. I love dogs in General but i like my dogs inside the house and no way would i want a big dog or shedding dog inside the house.

I'm a female and I used to say I would NEVER use a stroller...then I injured my back and decided to get a 2nd Yorkie. I know that if I take my girls shopping, there will be times they must be in a carrier or stroller. With my back, carrying both is not an option...so I broke down and bought a stroller because I want to be able to take them both with me.

I LOVE that there are so many guys that love Yorkies. My husband thinks ours is this greatest dog he's ever met. He has no problem taking her out in the neighborhood...even if he does get a little kidding from the guy next door that has Boxers and races motor bikes on the weekend.

My husband has always owned a healer, blue ,red doesn't matter. When I came home with Bruiser he was done for. He swears he can't go in public with Bruiser, but let me tell you.... Mercy, that man has more pictures in his phone of my dog then he does pictures of the kids. And he'll be the first to whip out his phone to show off pictures or videos of what Bruiser looks like, what trick he's learned and how "big" he's gotten. I may have picked out the pup, purchased him of my own funding, paid for all his vetting, and even his not so inexpensive ("just get the cheap s**t, it's s dog" in an argument on food researcher a year ago; now it's, "Wellness Puppy please" I won ;)) dog food, but those two would pick each other over me any day!

I agree, it's not only endearing to see a man with a small dog, but it tells of his character as well.

I don't take mine shopping with me. Uni wants to say hi to everyone and toto wants to fight everyone. So I think I'm safe in saying I'll never have a stroller.

Although, I always wanted and wish for a Pram style English baby stroller. I'll never have human babies, but if I got my hands on one of those I'd put the dogs in there. Lol

I had a Pram! It was disgustingly expensive for the four months I used it, but it was definitely beautiful! I use a front carry baby pack stuffed with one large aardvark squeaky toy on the side. Bruiser loves it!!

You already know that being male does not mean you cannot love small dogs, from the posts I have read, but I just wanted to say congratulations, and welcome. Your babies are precious, and your Ninja is lovely. My hubby and I both ride, and we see lots of motorcyclists with their tiny canine riding companions. Nothing wrong with that at all. I cannot tell you how many men I have seen with a tiny dog in the crook of their arm...LOL

I had a Yorkie/Poo mix when I was a child...we rescued him from freezing in the winter when he was too tiny to leave his mother, and I lost him when my first child was three. He was my heartbeat. I had much larger dogs after him, and for many years, but missed my small, smart, loving, loyal, protective dog companion baby very much. I love the Yorkie intelligence and personality.

My hubby is from Alaska and always had large breed dogs for his sled teams. He never had a small dog until I got Brody. Now, we have three Yorkies, and he says the Yorkie has every doggie trait a person could wish for, and in a very portable package. He thinks they are 'the perfect dog' and wants no other breed. He is very attached to our babies, and has converted many of his male friends to Yorkie owners, who say the same thing now. LOL

Now THAT is a hot picture! You have a Ninja and own y(m)orkies, too... You must be perfect! My man rides a Honda VTR 1000 super hawk, and the love of his life (besides me...I think) is a 6.3 lb Yorkie named Izzy. If he had to choose between ten people and that dog, all ten people would die.

As of today I have 3. Moki 7lbs 3yrs old Winnie 7 mo 3 lb 6oz And Now Whimsy who didn't make the cut. 9mo 4lbs

Alot of "Macho" type men like Yorkies. Me and two of my friends who were influence by my Moki. That they are really good dogs with big dog personality. Especially for ppl who are active but sometimes are to tired to play everyday...A big dog needs it...park or run time. A little one can play in the house. Looks easy but climbing columns is a workout :eek:

There is not an ice cube's chance in any 'hot place' that you would catch me in photo...LOL...yikes!!!

Did I mention my hubby, that loves Yorkies, was a LRP in Green Beret? Mr. Macho even put up a topknot in a scunchie!

Looks easy? Looks dangerous and difficult to me. I agree, there are days where I am too tired to take them out so I can sit on the sofa and throw their toy indoors and play fetch.

No there is not...LOL. He had 4 sisters and did their hair, too. Your babies are adorable and that's a good looking topknot! :D

:eek::eek: I thought my calves were hurting from standing on a little 10 foot ladder last week. Plus, you must have nerves of steel to do what you do. :D

Personally I'm afraid of heights but I make myself do things I am scared to do. I would totally do that if I had a harness. I draw the line at sky diving.
