ShowGirlLola | 04-05-2015 05:39 PM | A few years ago my skin got really sensitive, my clothes were making me itch like crazy. I'm also very sensitive to smells. Now I was my clothes with unscented and uncolored detergent and white vinegar, I don't use dryer sheets/balls/etc in the dryer. My clothes are soft and static isn't a problem. Clothes washed with fabric softener and dryer sheets make me gag now from the chemically perfume smell. Quote:

Would someone clue me in? Why are people wiping their dogs down with dryer sheets? I'd not heard of it before. It's a thought that had never crossed my mind - to rub my dog down with a dryer sheet. What is the thinking behind it? To keep their fur softer or something? | I've been hearing it for at least 10 years as a way to reduce static in human hair and I guess people just extended it to dogs. |
