Be sure to shop the prices. They can vary quite a bit :)

Cali is getting used to the kind of whine it makes just before it throws the ball.
Tonight she tried to out one of her small stuffed Teddy Bears in it. Guess because sometimes when she brings those to me I do throw them. So have to remember to turn the machine off when I am not there :D

Does the machine only take one ball at a time? I thought a bunch could be loaded and the machine will keep throwing them out. In other words, does the dog have to be as smart as Zoey and keep bringing the ball back and putting it in the machine? (sorry if I am being thick headed, lol)
I do one at a time otherwards I think it defeats the fetch purpose. If I do more ,poor Zoey stands there with ball in mouth looking at me like" welllll, NOW what do I do?!" Lol

But they really do like it .....and baby Izzy runs too.im working on her drop it , techniques.....she doesn't wanna let go.....has too much fun fraying out the fuzz...

Lol, that's funny....Zoey will throw her zany in once in a while.....those small soft squeeker balls....it just sits there stuck....

Here is a link to training trips. You can see a video in the tv screen of dogs learning how to reload the balls into the launching part. There are some other tips if you scroll down a little.

It's really great! I really want to work with her more so that we can use it. I play a real lot with Katie, but I have to get her interested in the tennis balls. Right now she snubs any ball that's not a small rubber bouncy ball. At one point all she would play with is these tiny rubber balls and a little tug of war, but now she's actually plays with toys, too. Katie will even start bouncing her balls in hard to reach places, such as under the baseboards, and then makes it a game trying to solve how to ricochet them out.

Cali is so cute. I love how she tried to put her Teddy Bear in it. I really need to spend a few minutes each day trying to get Katie to try a tennis ball. She keeps taking a ball out with her at night because, with the snow, she can see her ball. She wants desperately to play on the icy snow, but I think it's too dangerous for her knees to slide. As many times we play each day, she wants more. Katie is so good, however, and doesn't pester me, but I know she wants to play and can't resist her.

Zoey and Izzy are so adorable. I loved your video of Zoey and also the one with both of them. Zoey seems so happy with this.

I've had this thing for what 2 months? And never filled the cup up!
I was so concentrating on the one at a time concept and teaching Zoey to bring it and drop it ....I failed to realize it shoots 2 out at the same time (without revving it up again)! Now that's real handy when you have 2 sets of little eyeballs on it....zoey chases the first one which goes farther , and Izzy is right behind her as the second shoots out....I was just putting them in by hand one at a time...DUH! But i would teach the fetch , bring back , and drop first or I think YOU will be the one doing all the dropping....

I have found that one ball at a time is best. Otherwise Cali gets a little frazzled thinking she has to get "all" these balls. One at a time is plenty. If you have more than one dog (like when her playmate visits) 2 balls works best.

Thanks....she just loves it....it's great exersize too.
For those just getting one , don't get discouraged ...they won't take to it right away....it took Zoey a month ...then " the lightbulb came on" and she just took off on it....not a day goes by she doesn't play with it several times a day.
And with 2.....we have so much fun...I'm the First one needing a break ....an I'm not even panting! Lol

You have motivated me to try to get Katie to try a different texture, bigger ball. Katie won't play with multiple balls. Once she starts with one, that's the only one she will play with. I could have ten balls in my pocket, but if we misplace one while playing, she will search frantically until she finds it.

Well good luck with that! Zoey AND Izzy are the same way! That's too funny!
But that's with their Zanies balls....the soft squeaky ones....I throw one and they both want it even. If I have another like it and throw at the same time, but with the tennis balls if I throw 2 at a time they aren't as particular but there are 2 of them too. If it's one at a time and I hand throw it, Izzy goes after Zoeys even if there is a ball right behind it. Hilarious...might de a slobber thing:D
