| Time to buckle up Hello everyone, I was just curious what all of you use when taking your babies for car rides? Do you use a carrier, or a seat belt harness, etc.? Bella loves to go for car rides and look out the windows, but she is so short unless she is lifted up she can't see out. I want her to enjoy her car rides, but I also want her safe. Thanks in advance for all your responses. Last edited by babibluuu; 01-29-2015 at 05:53 AM. |

| We use a snoozer car seat. It is high enough for them to see out the windows and has a tether to hook to their harness. It's held in place by the cars seat belt. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I have a little faux fur lined lookout/snoozer seat that attaches to the seat. It's like the shape of a box that they sit in.

| I use the snoozer lookout also. I just bought it online last week on amazon, they had a few of the snoozer luxury lookouts for only $70, which is half the original price. One thing I do like about it is that I can take the cover off to wash, especially since my puppy got car sick last night and barfed all over it lol. |

| I have a Cadillac and they make their own booster seat. It is made of faux suede with the cadallic emblem - very cute. It sits between the two front seats on the arm bench. Zoey loves it. She didn't like the one that hangs from the seat.

| I use a carrier, my little Kimchi gets so excited to get in it, but then she gets frustrated sometimes if she stays in it too long, lol Been thinking to eventually move her to car seats and see how she does with that. I feel her carrier is sort of her den/comfort zone, funny thing is, she hates going into the crate I have for her (she only enjoyed it the first few days I got her, till she realizes she could walk around outside it ^^;;;..)

| Thank you everyone for all the great responses. The snoozer is the one that I have been looking at online. Bella doesn't like a crate or a carrier, tried both with her and she just did not like either no matter what I tried. She likes to ride in the car and so far has only got car sick once, but to be far it was a pretty long trip for her. I have been keeping her in her front pouch carrier attached to me so she is basically on my lap, but I know that it is so dangerous for her if god forbid we got in an accident. I think it will be one of the snoozer's, hopefully she adjusts to it easily. Thanks again everyone. |

| snoozer console lookout-we started off by leaving it in the kitchen a couple of days. She absolutely loved snuggling in there and then put it into my car. she loves it! good luck! |

| This sounds like a very good idea to leave it down in the house for her for a couple of days so she gets used to it and then move to the car. Great idea, will do this. Thanks. |

| Absolutely! And I also put her favorite toy in there when I moved it to the car. All positive associations :-) |
