How insensitive. Maybe I am hyper sensitive ... but I lost my lexi early this am you would think people could just say.. hey I am sorry, My condolences ... But no you've got to have that one jerk off that says.. "Well just get another dog":eek:. Now I am not saying I wont get another furbaby... but geez... Could they please show a little respect ... its not even 24hrs yet... Just really pissed me off ... Sorry for the rant but I had to get that off my chest.. |
Sorry to hear about your loss and about someone not understanding that loss. Obviously, they have never been loved by a pet or loved a pet. Otherwise, they would understand. |
So sorry i know you are heart broken, dogs tho dogs cannot be replaced like you do a set of tires. Some people just dont know how to consol. Or understand I greaved and wept a solid month when i lost my 17 year old doxie. I waited after the loss of my other dogs . But hurt so bad after my doxie i jumped right in one week and got my pap. But hind sight i wish i would have waited. Because for me and her it wasnt fair to her. Everyone is different. How long did you have your doll baby? Answer only if your ready to talkabout it. If not i understand. |

Sorry for the loss of your lil Lexi...When I lost my first yorkie I couldn't go to work for a week, I couldn't function, could not think straight, all I could do was cry. I was told "it's just a dog". People that are not dog lovers just cannot understand. Everyone in my life now, knows what my babies mean to me. Ignore the words of these ppl, they cannot understand. Thank you everyone for your kind and thoughtful words... It really helps a lot. I was so angry yesterday I thought I would burst into flames when this idiot sad that. I am in a better place today. But missing my girl. Again thanks you guys. |
May I too join in your vexation. Insensitivity is just a failing that fortunately none of us who have replied share. I can only begin to comprehend your feelings at this time and hope at 69, that I go first and my wife has Crystal. To now live in a world without her would be impossible to sustain I fear. My sincere thoughts are with you. |
I am so sorry for your loss Lexi . So many just dont "get it" when it comes to us and our furbabies. It is their loss they have never had that love we have and are experiencing with our furbabies. |
