How funny Kristin! My girls shake to death. Lol. Lily is the only one who wants to love on my vet. The other two want their mommy. Maybe your two were plotting since they both were together! Haha! Glad they were excited to be there. |
We made another rare visit to the vet's office with both Max and Teddy . Usually I take them individually. I was going to wait in the car with them while dad went inside to pick up their package. The boys were so excited, they insisted on getting out of the car and they tried to pull me inside the office. They are crazy! :p |

Yes, Fabian loves it. Puppy kisses and "pretty sits" for everyone! |

It is is such a stressor for me to take Jackson to the vet. I get stressed because I know how stressed he gets. He immediately starts shaking when we pull into the parking lot. His anxiety meds have been helping to ease his fear a bit though and our new vets office is great, it's the most comfortable he's been at a vets. So I'll take it. Next dogs I really want to work on so they are like Max and Teddy! I would love to start socializing them at the vets and just bringing them in for fun visits and not just appointments! |

Luckily, we switched vets, so we never returned. He was fine after that. I'm glad Jackson is doing well with your new vets office. Save |

Max and Sasha do not like going to the vet. As soon as we get into the parking lot their little tongues start to curl up which is their way of showing me they are distressed. |
Emma likes going to our vet because there's a bunch of cats. Emma loves cats, I have no idea why but she does. We pull into the parking lot and she's so excited to get out, we go in, she waits for her cat buddy to come talk to her and if that buddy cat just so happens to sneak in the exam room while Emma is being examined, Emma pays attention to the cat and ignores the vet. So pleasant distraction from the shots and stuff. |
Tibbe is such a social gadfly, he LOVES any chance he gets to exert his many Yorkie charms on others, even those who poke and prod him or clip his toenails. He'd undergo just about anything I think as long as he got attention for it, the definition of a tiny 'ham'. Plus he seems to take in every single molecule of critter odor he can manage from the time we drive close until we drive away, his bit of a nose is constantly, visibly working overtime. So say the word 'vet' and Tibbe is all happy tail and panting with joy to and fro. The attendants and even the vets have commented that he's always got a paw sticking through the cage, standing on his hind feet and vying loudly for their attentions and seem more than a little relieved when I show up to council with the vet and take him home while he acts like he's just been on the vacation of a lifetime. |
