Got this off the website: Purebred Breeders Lifetime Guarantee: Lifetime is defined as a period of ten years from the puppy's date of birth. The first year of the guarantee is covered by our breeder; years 2 - 10 are covered by us. Here is what it covers:We do not believe your puppy is replaceable but we do believe that sometimes the pain can be lessened in the company of another furry friend. In the unlikely event of the death of a puppy within one year from its birth due to genetics, or if the puppy is found to have congenital or hereditary disorders (within one year) which adversely affects the health of your puppy, we will replace the pet with another of equivalent value at no cost to you. The cause of death should be certified by a licensed veterinarian. In the event of the death of a puppy, due to genetics, after the first year of birth, we will issue a credit in the amount of 50% of the original cost towards the purchase of a replacement puppy of equivalent value. The cause of death should be certified by a licensed veterinarian. |
I'm sorry I didn't word that properly, that's my fault. He has a 10 year guarantee as for his pet insurance he has his first 30 days covered in case he came to me not in complete health. My apologies for the confusion |

Welcome to YT! Regardless your puppy is adorable and I say enjoy him to the fullest. I definitely say yes to pet insurance!! I would also suggest micro chipping your little bundle of joy and then of course have him neutered. My little girl came from a broker and after doing research I found the breeders name on a puppy mill list that was circulating on this site. I felt really bad and stupid (still do) but I was also (and still am) in love with my little girl. I really wish I had known about this site before I purchased her but after you see them and fall in love then it's too late!! Now I always suggest to anyone looking for a Yorkie to please do research first. My papers are ACA as well and are worthless. I tried to get more info on her parents but came to a dead end. The wellness checkup my girl had told me she was healthy too but she had LCPD surgery at 1 yr. and the broker could care less. You may not experience any illnesses with your pup but it's better to be prepared just in case. I would also suggest Care Credit which is a credit card that can be used for vetting. I was approved for one at my vets office in less than 5 minutes. A puppy savings plan too if you can. I really hope that you and your pup are one of the lucky ones and that your pup is strong and healthy for the rest of his life. You've come to the right place for Q & A's and to also show off your new little bundle of joy. So next time someone says something to you tell them " Duh! Parti Yorkie-Look em up" and if you want one do your research and find a really good breeder first! Congrats on your new baby!! |
I have actually had this company contact me wanting puppies. I gave them an ear full of what I thought about them, the company and the breeders they buy from. All they are is brokers, the breeder ships the puppy directly to the families, which the breeder gets 1/2 price of what is actually paid. The lifetime guarantee is only a "credit" for 1/2 of what was paid for the puppy towards a puppy at the same price as the original, not a replacement. Your baby is cute, and I hope healthy. Like Lovetodream88 mentioned before, I would certainly look into pet insurance for future health risks. Especially since ACA registration and the breeders that use them are questionable to say the least. |

in my opinion i just feel like not all yorkie's look the same and i know people who have yorkies with bigger ears and different hair texture etc. it just depends on how they are, i suppose i realized that I'm happy with my unique baby, whether he's purebred or not :) |

Congratulations!!! Your baby is a cutie, and the parents look very sweet. |
I agree that is a broker site and they ask for way to much money on what is more than likely puppymill puppies. I have seen that site in the past. Also as said above ACA is not a reputable kennel club and will register anything. Your puppy is adorable whether full or not. |
His head and beady little bear eyes and front stance are very Yorkie to me, IMHO, but that spot on his side and the texture of his body hair are very different from any Yorkie I've ever seen. I never heard about Parti Yorkies before. It is interesting to learn all this. Your puppie is beyond adorable. I love the markings around his eyes! I Love your dog!!! His cuteness/uniqueness alone is worth the price you paid. |

Get a proper insurance plan for him now. It will cover neuter, shots, dentals, etc. Do it before something crops up. Usually congenital issues don't show up for a few years. I'm not talking about getting sick, vomitting, stuff like that. I mean LP (bad knees, like 99% of yorkies have this condition), liver shunts, hip dysplasia, etc. Lastly, the papers on him are ACA which is not a reputable registry. Reason is, the breeders are not required to keep very strict paperwork on the dogs (dams and sires, bloodlines, etc) like they are required by the AKC, and just need to send in a check to declare any dog is such and such breed. My Uni is also from a broker and also ACA. I didn't find out until I got on this site and started educating myself. The papers I got for her didn't even have her same microchip number on it, so I don't even know who's papers I have! They are worthless. |

Yes your baby is adorable, BUT you paid $1600 for him. He should have bee AKC from a reputable breeder for that price. And I agree it gets annoying when people say your dog doesn't look like the breed he is. I get it all the time. |

When we got Uni, she and her littermates were at this woman's place of business. In a cage all alone on a Sunday. Mother's Day actually. I thought it was weird but cute puppies distracted me. Probably exactly what she wanted. We asked where is the mom? She showed us this huge Glamour Shot type photo of the mom who looked like this gorgeous show dog with long flowing hair. Even my BIL laughed and said that's probably just a picture from the internet. Still, I was distracted by cute puppies. We took the bait and bought her. I know for a fact that "mom" in the pic cannot be related to my Uni, who has sparse thin and easily broken hair. Just be careful of what people tell you, esp people that want to or did take your hard earned money. |
He is adorable!!! :D |
