| Yorkie hair/coat Hello all. I am at my wits end, I've been wanting to ask this question for sometime. Perhaps others have asked before but I've not seen it answered. My furbaby has a beautiful silky coat, IMO. I brush her everyday, with a few accept ions. Yesterday was that acceptions. So I have brushed and combed her all out today getting all the knots and tangles out. But as happens on many occasions my brush n comb end up with a lot of furry hair attached. Underneath her silky long hair she has a coat of fluffy and furry hair. Looking at her you wouldn't think it's there. Of course I see it when I tend to her. My question is......is this normal? Do your babies have this? She is 15 months old and should I expect her to out grow it? I'm really curious to hear from you all. I have learned so much from this group. Thank you. | One of my yorkies had the same exact thing several years ago. I would have to be sure to really condition his hair. I fed him a high quality food to help keep his coat silky and shiny. |

| Winnie has this issue too....it's like fluff that comes out. Her hair is silky and I brush her twice a day. She's kind of a tomboy and gave me fits at first for brushing (we r still working on her leaving a topknot in) but when I brush her i get that fluff in the brush too....I was wondering the same thing about why....I thought maybe it was puppy hair because she is only 6 months old. |

| Chickensmith. I also was thinking it was puppy hair and tried to be patient waiting for her to outgrow it but Snickers is 15 months now and it's still here. Her hair lays flat and is soft, silky (on top) and shiny. I just think this is so peculiar. |

| Chloe also has a little bit of fluff under her hair. I find that it goes away with a lot of hair conditioner and also by making sure she has no tangles before her bath. She just turned 1 and her hair is almost at the ground but not fully so I'm assuming this is just still puppy hair growing out which I think is the case for you guys too.
