All Biewer Owners Sign In Here !!!! I thought it would be fun for all of us that are members on YT, that own a Biewer to sign in here... share our Biewers, stories, experiences ect. It would be interesting to see how many of use that own them as more and more us have become proud Mommies and Daddies of this breed. I would also like to invite you all to think about the new club we are hoping to have up and running by the end of January. We are going to call it: Biewer Yorkshire Terrier Club of America tm If this interests you email me @ magnoliasyorkies@yahoo.com I will give you more details on what we are trying to establish for this breed. Let's not turn this thread into a debate area, just a sign in !!! :D I will start...lol Hello, My name is Susan and I am a proud owner of 6 Biewers. 2 males and 4 females. I am breeding my Biewers and I was blessed with my 1st litter Oct. 23rd. I am currently showing my Biewers with the IABCA and planning on attending the show in Lexington, KY. April 8th & 9th. We are also planning on a trip to Germany in Oct. to meet additional breeders there as well as bringing a couple of our Biewers back to Germany to show in their Homeland. I am very excited about this breed as they have shown me they are a awesome little doggies. I am enjoying each and everyone of my Biewers and I am very proud to be able to breed them and share them with others... :) |
Hi Susan, I became bored and found YT :) ALong with my yorkies we have 3 Biewers and Berry is the proud mom of 5 babies :) Some day I will join you guys in Germany |
oh BTY I will support the Biewer Yorkshire Terrier Club of America tm :D :D |
Good afternoon! My name is Debbie and I live in Arlington, Tx. I am the proud Momma to 3 yorkies, Petee, Bailey and Teyla and my 15 wk old Biewer, Baynon. I wish I had the knowledge and time to show..but really want to be a part of the BYTCA! I e-mail Sue often (prob. too often) to try to keep abreast on the latest news and follow her advise closely. Would love to know the other Biewer owners here! They are a wonderful breed and I am so proud to be the owner of one! (Saving for No#2) |
Biewers I have one female Biewer imported from Germany. I will not get anymore..they are lovely dogs, but I perfer the standard coats..I find them like Matlese texture.. Isabella lives with the co-owner and hopefully will have puppies this year. She is a wonderful dog and I can see why people are so crazy about them. |
I have two Biewers, Leo and Hannah, that were imported from Germany. We really enjoy them and are looking forward to their first litter, it'll be a while yet. |

I would suggest you might want to name your Club Biewer Terrier Club of America rather than Biewer Yorkshire Terrier Club of America. You may be stepping very hard on the toes of the YTCA the parent club of the Yorkshire Terrier. As I recall from the development of the breed, they were developed from the German breeders taking Yorkies with more and more white in the blazes and breeding them allegedly producing the tricolour calling them Biewers. The Biewer therefore, has been developed from more selection of incorrect colouring of the YOrkie, which is supposed to be blue and tan by breed standard. No parent club of any purebred breed of any sort is going to sit idle while someone is trying to create a recognition of a new breed based on the incorrect colouring of the current breed doing an offshoot of the name of that recognized breed. Just my opinion. |
You all should be required to post pictures!!! :D I just LOVE seeing your beautiful babies!!!!! (beg) P L E A S E (beg) :animal36 |
2 Attachment(s) I currently have just the 1 Biewer, Chyna. She's from Germany originally...Miros bred. She was born in July 2005 and has one of the most beautiful silky coats I have ever seen. (Of course, I haven't seen all that many Biewer coats, but oh well.) :) Anyway, I am in the process of finding a mate for Ms Chyna so that by the time she's ready to become a mommy, her mate will be here and ready. I like the Biewer because they are different...they are somewhat unique. Their personalities are outstanding and so far I have found them to be VERY loving and pretty darn smart too! I would LOVE to hear info on the club! Please forward any info to me at APayton250@aol.com. :) I live in Bowling Green KY and I just MIGHT have to go up to Lexington KY (3 hr trip) for the show to meet you guys that are going to that show! That would be SOOO much fun! |
Sorry, I know I have already posted, but wanted to say the Chyna is just breathtaking! My boy is so young and is changing colors every day it seems. I love seeing pictures of Biewers that are older than he is. You are right about her coat it is beautiful. Baynon's looks like it will be too. Its just amazing how unique this little breed is. Just wanted to say you have one pretty girl! Sue this was such a good idea..I love meeting other Biewer owners and seeing pictures! Debbie |
Hello Everyone, My name is Jenny and I am a proud Biewer owner. I got my Lilly towards the end of September and fell in love with her instantly. She just turned 6 months last weekend, is from Germany, and is my little princess. Just this week my mentor and I decided to purchase a little boy together. He is from Germany as well, is 12 weeks old, and is gorgeous. I don't have any pictures that I can post with this as I am at work and cannot download the picture resizing tool onto my computer, but there are plenty of pictures of Lilly in my photo gallery on here and she is in my avatar. I don't have any pictures to post just yet of our new little boy (we will be getting him Saturday), but I promise, there will be many to come. :) |
Matthias is a Biewer too, so I'll join up. :) |
3 Attachment(s) Thought I'd introduce our little guy. His name is Pixel. He is a Biewer and is 4 1/2 months old. He's a handful but we absolutely love him. We start Puppy Basics class next week. I have a feeling that he is going to be the brattiest puppy there. :D |
:wavey: Welcome Pixelate to YT, glad you came and joined us here. You have a adorable little one there. :p Spoiled is always good in my book!!! |

I see there is one in Anaheim in August. I will put those dates on my calendar. |
signing in as requested...proud mama of Gretchen and Clara the floor diggers...gotta love them. Hope to have some Gretchen pups this spring to show next year. Have about given up on handling these two as Gretchen just cannot resist rolling onto her back for a belly rub whenever approached and Clara has an ear kissing fetish that would not be appreciated by a judge, but we think it's charming. They are definitely the class clowns of the crew. |

Gretchen and Clara you girls are beautiful examples of the Biewer breed. So, girls listen to mom she really needs to get you in the show ring, we have plenty time for belly rubbing and kisses while we wait for our ring times. :p :p Trust me their will be plenty of people at the shows that will give you this attention... Sometimes it is hard to get ready for the next ring due to this reason. :D :D Homer is quite the clown too !!! So, I know the 3 of them would get along perfectly!!! |
I am in serious need of professional help with these two....LOL! I have tried three different training methods since August and I cannot for the life of me get them to quit the nonsense. It doesn't help that they charm the bejeebers out of me while I'm trying to work them. I'm really just ready to wait for the next generation and start fresh with impressionable kids. These girls are oblivious....we tell blonde jokes 'bout 'em. |

Sue ....sounds like the Club is off to a good start and GOOD LUCK ! I know you've been working hard on it and wish you all the best. |

Sorry, I don't have any Biewer's, but wanted to say how adorable your "brat" is!!! :D |
I'm a wanta be I sure hope I can have (buy) biewers just as cute as your pups, in the near future. I keep sneak looking at these pups--I think I'm infatuated, and I need this diversion after yesterday. |
1 Attachment(s) Hi everyone, I'd say I am the proud owner of a Biewer named Gus Gus but it's really more like he owns me...and he knows it. He is everything I hoped for when I begun my search for a Biewer. It is a joy to have him in my life. Here's a picture. It is a little blurry but it's one of my favorites... |
He is just MAJESTIC and I'd LOVE to be owned by Gus Gus ! :) |
