I love my Biewer boys--they are very sweet and cuddly. There is a reason they call the girls bitches, lol.

I have had 4 females, all now past, they were very cuddly, eager to give kissy, snuggled next to me. I would have one on the left hip, one on the right hip and one in my lap. bed time they all had their own spots and all leaned, pressed into my legs or back. I now have an adopted 3 y/o lil boy, he will snuggle with me on the sofa. I believe his prev, owner allowed him on their bed, but not allowed to sleep near them. I have Cody 9 months now, every night we go to bed, I will pull him to me, press him to my chest, as soon as I take my arms off him he will move away and will sleep on the spare pillows, 4 weeks ago he started to sleep on MY pillow, so now momma has an edge of the pillow, but that's ok because this is the closest he's ever been to sleeping next to me. Last week he had a short hair cut, sitting on the sofa cuddled next to me he was shivering, I covered him with his sofa blankie. When bedtime came I put him under the blankets with me, he "sneaked" lol closer to me. I petted him to let him know it's ok to be close to me. Since that night which is a week ago Friday he sleeps under the blankets touching me. Last week we had a warm night didn't matter, he was under the blankets lol. I have to undo 2 1/2 years of "you can sleep on the bed, just don't come near me". I know he is loving being able to snuggle against me. I raised my girls from babies, I lived in THEIR house, I have Cody a short time, he likes to snuggle, is cheap with his kisses,unless you are a stranger, them he will give face kisses to, for mommie dearest I have to BEG for a face kiss, 95% of the time I don;t get one, again, thinking he was not allowed to do this with prev. owner. So I cannot say boys are more affectionate. I have always heard they were. I love my lil boy no matter what, and soon I will make him a lil snuggle bug. The longer he is with me, the more trust he gains in me, I am a happy camper that he is now sleeping under the blankie next to me. I also agree, I think it's the individual dog, not the sex.

I have 2 males and 2 females. 1 of my males is very cuddly all the time, the other is cuddly on his terms only (I feel used). 1 of the females is still a puppy and is an attention whore and the other is my alpha dog, so she likes to be in charge of everyone and tries to get them to all go away, but she doesn't want to cuddle unless the others are, and then it's only until she can force them out of our laps and she goes to see what else they're doing so she can boss them around there too.
