If I ever said a "small" dog, I was NOT referring to a teacup, I was referring to general size considering I have only owned an American Pit, numerous Boxers, and fostered a Bullmastiff. All over fifty pounds. So, really...stop trying to make what I've said into something it never was. I have three small children, and zero interest in a three pound dog for them to accidentally crush. It's a chore enough making sure they are aware of Sheldon who is, and always has been, tracking at five pounds.

Once again, I was NEVER nasty or rude, and I have even been quite adamant about saying that anything I said wasn't taken wrong. You, however, seem to be getting quite revved up about my tiny, singular opinion.

I know you did say that you hoped anything was taken wrong but it was a little too late. I just didnt understand why you were taking this position with this person. I just ask everyone who is excusing the way this thread went and how the OP had to just give up how you would feel if you were new and it seemed everyone on the forum were coming after you over things that when it really comes down to it are unimportant and really this persons busiiness. Bobbi when yoou were new I reamed you and I regret it and Im sorry. I could have driven you to the point of not returning to the forum and would that be fair or right. I learned from that thread though and what I learned was I may believe that what I have to say is very important and needs to be said but there is a way of saying it that the other person will accept it and not resent or argue with you when yooou say it. All of this could have been handled differently to get this person to an understanding not making them feel ganged u[ on, badgered or feel they have to give up

This poster is not knew. In the opinions of the people who were posting we do not feel we were reaming but you are reaming everyone for how they posted. You should practice what you preach.

Im trying to let you see this how this person just may have seen it and why they gave up. But Im done with this thread because one person has taken it where it always goes its been reported thats all thats important to me

Honestly, my original distaste on this post came from the blatant disregard of the pros of spaying. The second was the cavalier attitude about it. The third was then being regarded as rude, which I never was.

If I'm being honest, and this is not meant in a mean way,
YT is the kiddie pool of message boards to me. I've been on much, much more raw, honest forums. I would have never just left because a few people have strong opinions because, frankly, I have strong opinions too. But I do make extra sure that while I am being honest, and I may not coddle, I do not set out to be rude or break terms. I still stand by my opinion that I've done neither. I do apologize if I've offended, again, but I did not do so intentionally, nor did I break YT terms.

Seriously. Yeah I reported it too and sent a message this is ridiculous! The person didn't even leave for goodness sake. I certainly notice who that person normally is and it's been seen and pointed out before.

Now, to set this at rest. I wanted a small Yorkshyre terrier. I did a lot of research and finally after two months found a good breeder of small Yorkshyre terrier's. She is registered with AKC and is under 7 pounds. She happens to be under 2 pounds which I desired and willing to pay for that trait. As far as I am concerned everything is okay and I've made the right decision for me!

I think that you should except a small Yorkshyre terrier it is recognized by AKC. No matter how much you complain they will not go away, they are in demand and will continue to be so.

Omg I would like to just smack my head against the desk. Yes it's a word but it is a world only bad breeders and uneducated people of the yorkie breed use. Please read my darn links! The Yorkshire terrier club first off says it's a bad word secondly the standard says not to exceed 7 pounds so any yorkie 1 pound, 2 pound, 3 pounds, 4 pounds, 5 pounds, 6 pounds, and 7 pounds are all STANDARD. It's not that you wanted a small yorkie that bothers me it's the use of the word teacup and not getting that it is ONLY used by bad breeders.

You havent been onhere long. This forum used to be much much more raw than it is right now. We also used to have alot more members than we have now. The mods are trying to get this under control. Our goal in this forum should be to grow it not chase people away. I know people have opinions and they should have an opinion but we should give them in a way we dont chasing them off. Im not pin pointing you personally on this so dont take it personally. Im saying it about how the thread went in general
