Well, Toto did it again last night and broke skin. :( He was fully awake! I don't get it. He bit me on my big toe and my index finger. My toe actually bled pretty good, and my skin is rough on my feet. What gives? ETA: His eyesight is good as far as I can tell. He is a crazy ball fanatic and goes after his ball so fast and reaction time is really fast so I think he can see well. |
Just an option but maybe not totally awake she maybe startled and responds in a " you scared me mode" my husband startled me I punched him in the nose lol needless to say he never done that again. :) |

My older boy does this and I take it as him not wanting to be disturbed while he's comfy. He has 3 different spots that he sleeps in and he moves continuously throughout the night when he needs to. |
If Guinness is in bed with me while I am sleeping but he is awake and Ryan comes in and tries to touch me or move Guinness he turns into Cujo so maybe it is a "I am comfortable lady leave me alone" :p |
I have read its a sign of domanace. My papilon does that when she does not want to be moved. Im not mean usually a dont bite in a strong voice works . She is very strong willed. So from time to time i have to turn her on her side . Until she stops and submits. She dont do it as often. Booboo is 5 months old and so dossile. He just rolls over . Wish i got him first. |
Gucci went through a little phase like this, occasionally he didn't like it if I picked him up from his bed under the table. Every time he got grumpy, I just moved his bed to a different place in the adjacent rooms. In the middle of the living room, in the kitchen, in front of the TV.... right next to my big comfy chair.... He just comes when he is called now, slowly, and his bed is back under the dinning room table the way we like. Try moving his bed to a different location on a daily basis for about a week. Gucci seemed to get the picture better when he was still in it. Right to the middle of the room, no wall to his back to begin with. |
Thing is that he's done this in several different areas. The other night when he actually broke skin was downstairs. Usually he does this upstairs in the living room. I think I'll just try calling him from now on. I don't wanna get bit! :( |
