Can doggies have hiccups? I was just curious, since I think I just heard Turbie have a few a minute ago. Have a good day :) |

Yuppers...they can get hiccups...thing is, mine don't understand "GO GET A DRINK OF WATER" so they have it for about 5 minutes. :rolleyes: |

Maddie seemed to have the hiccups a lot when she was a young puppy, but I haven't noticed her having them for the last few months. Maybe she outgrew them? |
Bridget gets them every once in awhile. It's so sad... her little body will shake with each hiccup and she'll look at me like "what the heck is going on"? Luckily they don't last too long! |

Vivi gets hiccups all the time! She also goes to her water bowl and drinks water. They can be so smart sometimes. :) |

Starsky gets hiccups too. They don't come as often now that he is getting older. I notice he gets them if he eats something real fast! |
Cali had them twice in the past two days. I never heard her with them before. I told her maybe she was growing but she didn't look to happy about them. |
K, glad to know my Yorkie isnt the only one lol She burps, but usually doesnt hiccup. Ive caught her farting a couple times. She'll look at her butt and sniff, with a look of confusion on her face. Then gets up and leaves the area. Priceless :D |
Add Jeter to the list too. He hiccups, burps and toots too. His burps are so loud that I blamed my son a few times before actually seeing Jeter do it. I cant believe such loud burps can come from such a little guy. |
my little Nina gets hiccups a lot! i was wondering if it's safe or if it's an indication that something is wrong in her throat... you know how they are prone to tracheal collapse! i know, i can be such a worry-wart a lot of the time, maybe you guys can put my mind at ease! :aimeeyork |
Georgie used to get hiccups a lot it's become less since he has gotten older. I think when he drinks water that's when it happens, I don't think it's a big deal really similar to when we get them :D |

well at least you dont have a little farter for a bealge! sometimes we blame my dad. once we had people over and marie, my beagle, farted in the middle of dinner, and everyone was like ew! whats that smell! i wanted to laugh so hard then! but my other dog hiccups alot! she jumps a little when she does it too! |
