A positive story for YT members to read.
 

I am so blessed to come on here to share this story with you. We are all so lucky to be members of such a wonderful group. So I hope you will read this and be reminded just how great YT can be.

As all of you know, I brought a new addition to my family. Miss Lily joined our family in June. After getting all her shots, we took her outside in the yard to discover the new world. Well, long story short, Lily is a runner. I knew then I needed a harness for her or she would not be able to go outside. So I began a search for a harness.

During this time, I receive a. PM from Carmen. We all know that Carmen has been through a lot since the passing of her precious Rosie. However, she is such a considerate person that she thought of Lily. Carmen offered to send us Rosie's Buddy Belt. As all of us can imagine, this had to be a hard thing for Carmen to do.

Miss Lily is so honored to have this harness and to have been thought of by Carmen to receive such a cherished gift. Lily will proudly wear this Buddy Belt and I will forever be reminded of the kindness that Carmen has shown us.

Carmen, thank you so much for your kindness. I know Rosie is looking over my Lily now. RIP Sweet Rosie.

A true gift of the heart. The goodness always overwhelms any negativity. It is the love of the people and dogs in this community that brings me back here always.

Aweeeeee . . such an unselfish and wonderful thing for Carmen to have done. I know that it could not have been easy for her to let go of something that had such great memories of Rosie attached to it but that's Carmen. She's such a sweet girls !!


Paying it forward comes in many forms and yes this is one of those reason why YT is such a wonderful tight knit community.

Oh Rhonda she is such a sweet little thing...I don't know why but I'm a little teary :) A lovely YTer, Tracey a.k.a. Mistymillar sent us that BB as a gift and we promised to pass it along once Rosie outgrew it...obviously she never got to. :( After she passed it sat on its hook here in my house for a long time, and it made me sad each time I saw it. I wanted to gift it to someone else. Someone we are quite fond of here on the forum. I was happy to send it your way. Seeing pics of it on Lily has made my heart so happy!! I love her playful stance in that first pic, and oh my, her face is so fluffy and cute! :p THANK YOU for posting these pics, they've really warmed my heart. I'm so happy it fits and can be put to use again. Lily is beautiful and I wish for you two to have many, many happy years together. :love:

P.s. you now own your first buddy belt, be careful as you see with certain others...it can become an addiction! :)

Carmen, you are very sweet and generous to pass along Rosie's harness. Lily is adorable in it. Just think how far this harness has already traveled, and how far it might go in the future. :love:

That is just so sweet. It makes me want to cry.

This harness was/is being worn by two babies who are loved by this community. I will never forget precious Rosie, and I am also enjoying watching Rhonda's special little baby grow up. This pretty pink Buddy Belt has one thing in common--they are worn by babies who are adored by the humans who share/shared their life. That love makes it so much more special and also knowing it was a gift originally from another YT member.

What a wonderful sweet story. Lily is adorable with her new BB, and a loving remembrance of Rosie. That was so thoughtful of Carmen, and heartwarming act of kindness that we all love to see on YorkieTalk.

Carmen we are sharing tears together. But I am so thankful for this kind act. Thank you for the kind words about Lily. I appreciate it so much.

I can not believe she was so thoughtful to us during her difficult time.

Miss Lily pranced around in her new harness for hours! She didn't even try to get out of it. It is a perfect fit and a great color for her! She thinks she is a special little princess!

Rosie will always be walking with Lilly, and watching over her.....
