white yorkie? 2 Attachment(s) I recently bought a white yorkie I never seen one before I seen the parents and they look like yorkies my question is they white yorkies |
The two are his parents and I'm trying to post a better one of him but he just Wiggles so much:D |
To me, those look like they could be Parti Yorkies. I don't know if they're considered standard by AKC but the breeders here charge a lot more for them due to the coloring. Or they could just be more silver in color. That's another variation. |
He does have a few spots of apricot on his ears and getting some on his back |
There is no such thing as a total white yorkies. There are parti yorkies but they have spots of tan and black on them |
He isn't totally white his ears are tan and he has spots of tan on his back and legs |
Probably a mix of some sort. Were the parents living outside? |
Sounds more like a Yorkiepoo, looks yorkiepoo too, do you have a better pic of your baby? |
My 2 Morkies (Maltese/Yorkie mix) and many others look like white Yorkies. Also Kendra's blue born Yorkie Mack is white. If it did occur it would be a color defect. |

I think these are called Gold dust or tan Yorkies. There is a breeder near us that raises these dogs. I have no idea about genetics and whether it's a recessive gene, but she also breeds Yorkies and Biewer Yorkies. |

He looks all yorkie to me. Just get his ears standing up. Just look at his face! Very cute! His name really does fit him well. :) There is maybe one golden yorkie breeder I've herd of close to me and I've seen a few myself. The only difference is in their coat. Beautiful golden white coat! :) |
Looks like maybe a morkie or yorkie-poo--and so freakin' cute! My 1.5 yr old male is a blonde/golden yorkie. He had two litter-mates with correct coloration, one chocolate, and Keegie got his mother's all-blonde coat. (He's fixed FTR) My rescue is a yorkie mix and his coat is curly like the parent-pup on the left. Enjoy your new baby! :congrats: |

Very cute little puppy. Officially there are no white Yorkies or golden There are Parti Yorkies but that is a whole other thing. There are people who do out crosses in order to bring in other colors but they would not "officially" be a Yorkie after an out cross although they may look very much like one. I saw an all white very Yorkie looking little dog yesterday that actually had some Chi in her. Very cute and very much like a Yorkie but had some other blood in her as well. |
