Get up exactly at 8:00am Come on- there is breakfast to eat Squirrels to chase Balls to retrieve What.....sleep in...come on the day is wasting away:D |
Ruby has me trained to open my sons bedroom door when she is ready for bed. Quincy has me trained to be a procrastinator: If I ask him to go out, I have to do wait 5 minutes after I ask him. (example: So I say lets go everyone out side, the girls are right up and out the door. Well not this one, I go and sit down and every single time here comes Mr. Quincy wanting out). Miah has me trained to look for the mail man. She can hear that mail truck a block away. She follows me around the house doing doughnuts waiting for me to put her out so she can bark at him. I've been trying to change that ! :) |
Tatiana has trained me to pick her up whenever I first sit down. She wants to cuddle on my lap. Whenever I first sit down, she will run to my feet and circle dance. She will give me her back to pick her up. If I don't notice, she will jump on my shin, and push off with her two front paws, as if to say,"Up, up, up!" :) Of course, by then, I would scoop her up, so we could cuddle on my lap. :) |
Maggie always sleeps velcroed to me, however she has trained me to one ritual every night. I always sleep with my "fuzzy" blanket which Maggie acknowledges as hers. Maggie jumps onto my bed and then just sets looking at my fuzzy blanket until I take "her" half of it and make a semi circle out of it. Then she will curl up on top of her half, put her butt up against me, snuggle in and go to sleep. She will not settle in for the night until I make her bed with half of my "fuzzy" blanket. Boy, she cracks me up! |
