Based on your initial post I STILL strongly suggest you go see a vet NOW, and not the 2 you called, makes absolutely no sense. Next time your baby is in distress, please don't stop here first go to the vet....QUICKLY.

If my Dog ever experienced those symptoms as you explained, he would be at the Vet- Comet or not. If I called my Vet’s office and explained to them what happened and they told me not to come, to wait I would be looking for another Vet. All Vet’s should have their patients health as top priority- emergency or not.

God forbid- what would happen if your dog experiences those symptoms again and you’re not there to help open his mouth and get through it??? Please make an appointment at a different Vet’s office to see what is going on with him. For whatever reason that is not normal.

Comet or not - it makes no difference. These symptoms are not normal.

Vet NOW.

Clearly you aren't going to go, but for anybody else in this situation go to the vet! This dog IS in danger.

You are contradicting your first post in this thread. You go to the vet for any little thing, but not these things?:

Could this be happing do to the comet cleanser 2 days ago? I know for sure it dropped on his head, but he probably inhaled it to. I’m very worried as he is so tiny 2.5lb 3y/o. Please help as what I should do. I was thinking to take him to the vet but he is a little aggrieve and gets super agitated whenever people get near him I don’t want him to get worse. Thanks so much

These frightening symptoms may have nothing to do with Comet (although, I doubt a vet tech would say that your dog would have to inhale a lot to cause any problems. If you tried inhaling a pinch of Comet yourself you would see what I mean.)

After re reading this thread, I think this MUST be one of thse deals where stuff is thrown out there just to watch all of us go into frantic tail spins, while they sit back and laugh gleefully. The OP said she takes her pup to the vet for "any little thing".....so I am confident she would not watch her pup unable to walk well, fall over, have a possible seizure, cant breathe, have a fulminating production of yellow foam pouring from his lungs, to the point he can not breathe.....and decide THIS is just not bad enough to go to a vet. She calmly says she is LOOKING for help from us, then she decides to act on all the same advice, by ignoring us.....she is pulling our chain! I am outta here!

I do not believe you. You either are not telling the truth with the symptoms he is having or you did not call another vet and or you didn't explain the symptoms to the vet. I feel so bad for your dog right now. I think not getting medical care for a dog that is obviously showing signs of being poisoned from the chemical should be animal abuse!

These symptoms warrant a vet visit comet or not. Why are you calling vets anyway this is an emergency you should just be taking him to a vet. Vet techs and receptionists cant deciper betwseen emergency non emergency over the phone. Your the one that saw the symptoms it is up to you to get him the care he needs

Personally I would take him to a vet. Even if he hadn't of come in contact with comet none of those symptoms are normal or should be brushed off. What if he has an issue that want due to the cleaner but the comet just aggravated it?
