I am so sorry for your loss |
So sorry for your loss. I don't think any of us can answer your question. You'll know when/if the time is right to get another pup. |

Im so sorry for your loss, sending hugs and prayers through your loss |
So sorry that you have loss your special little Mickey. It is so heart breaking when we have to let them go. Thier time in our lives brings so much joy and company that yes when they leave us the void seems unbearable. I a have lost two of my little older girls in 8 mos. Each one so different and yet tremendous bond with them. LOst Bree in June 2013 and Lyn in Mar 2014. Bree my little 3.5 girl went through a terrible experience making it so traumatizing for her and myself. couldnt get over the whole experience and still have times I breakdown she was with me almost 13 yrs. Then my litle Lyn she sufferd with cancer and that too was another tramatic time. As she became so frail and and I was helpless to minister beyond what the vets had already sone. Her time came to breaking my heart again. The reason I tell you all this is to say I was totally afr.aid to open my heart for another precious little one. But my daughter knew of someone who had a little male puppy and told me to think about him. Well I already knew I wasnt going to have a male because I had two beautiful girls and he could never be them. But I kept thinking about him because I do have a little senior male now still!! He has loads of health issues and in June he will be 13. So trying to make this short and quick I did get the little male puppy OH YES! He is adorable his name is Tosh we call him Posh Tosh. The day our true bond happened was when I was having a melt sown over the loss of my babies and Tosh was so tiny but he came over and sat so close to me so that we were touching and stared at me with eyes of love already as if this little man understood my brokenness. So I know with all my heart no matter the male or female there is the right baby and the right time for us to get another companion and friend. I am so in love with this little man and he is very smart. He actually cares about little Beamer being sickly he checks on him and lays by him. He sometimes lovingly cleans him up after a meal. So I believe the Lord sends us just what we need when we sometimes dont know ourselves.May he direct you in your time of healing and sadness. |
I'm so sorry to read about your loss of your sweet baby. Take all the time you need to grieve and cry and then I hope that your grief will one day lessen enough to allow you to love another little dog in the same way. |
I'm so sorry for your loss of Mickey. I'm sending you some healing prayers.. I lost my Presley in January after 17 1/2 years. Even though he had a wonderful life, I was still devastated. I was so sure I would wait as long as I did when I lost my Pek, Shan. After 4 years I was ready for another baby, and Presley found me. When we lost him, we were so lost. We couldn't wait and had to get another baby right away (a week later). While I will say, Ripley has kept me from dwelling on Presley's passing, I still miss him every day. I think I will always grieve for him. But, instead of crying every day, I have a new sweet girl who makes me smile more than I would have if she hadn't blessed our lives. I don't regret getting her so soon. It really helped us. |
YES, get another dog. Get a different sex, get a Biewer. I am getting another yorkie to replace my female I lost six years ago. It is hard and will always be hard. You deserve to be happy and if that means getting another pup then do it. Yorkies are more than just a dog, they are a companion, a family member. Some people don't understand the bond between a yorkie and their owner. It's a special bond, they are very loving, compassionate, forever pals. So, think about it and do what YOU want to do... Good luck-sorry to hear about your loss. It's hard to lose them whether they are eight years like mine was or seven months like your was. It will help you move on and make your days happier. Yorkies are like Sunshine: YOU CAN NEVER GET ENOUGH! Enough kisses, enough huggles - snuggles... |
Sorry for your loss. Please contact your breeder, per your contract. Most breeders have a health warranty on their dogs. What does your contract say? |
I lost my Mickey over a month ago. I miss him so much. I know they are in heaven running around in perfect grass and nothing hurts. My condolences and RIP Mickeys. |
