I'm so happy that Teddy had a great day today. I used to have such anxiety when it rained, because my Rainbow Bridge babies had an intense fear of thunderstorms which then generalized to rain. My first Yorkie couldn't be found one July 4th when we were at my sister in law's house. We finally found her hiding behind the washing machine.
I now am anxious when it looks like rain because Katie counts on her walks each day. We walk in light rain, and I hate when we are unable to go on our walks. They have become mini marathons of at least an hour, most days much longer. It's amazing how much our lives revolve around our little girl and everything we do to try to make her healthy, exercised, and happy.
Please give Teddy and Max extra kisses from Katie and me. | Thank you Lisa and Katie! Teddy is like Katie and really looks forward to his walks. I almost think part of his fear of rain is sadness that he will not be able to go out. We walk if it is not raining too hard and he is happy to go outdoors.
When there is lightning and thunder, it is so sad when they are inconsolable. He is happy if I take him for a car ride, but I only do that if it safe to do so. Teddy is an unusual boy! Quote:

Awww.....glad to hear teddy is doing better today. Ricky hides under the coffee table and in the closet. Ive panicked a few times when I couldn't find him because he was hiding so well in the closet.
We've had some nasty storms near us lately too. I was actually going to take my car into the shop on monday when they announced that a tornado had touched down near us. I ended up turning right around because I didn't want to leave the boys home alone. They aren't super scared of storms but I wanted to be there just in case I had to take them to the basesment. | Very scary! You are a great mom to return home to make they were safe. |
