I am so sorry little Teddy had such a rough night. I hope he's feeling better today and pray he and you all have an easier time if it storms again today or tonight. These poor little guys don't understand what is happening and why we are so scared and acting so differently, such as what we start doing when the power goes out and we're running around getting electric lanterns and turning off alarms and calling the electric company. |

Aww...Poor baby, bless his heart! I hope the storms have passed and Teddy's feeling better! Sending (((hugs))) to Teddy and positive thoughts for sunshine to come your way! ;) |
Kristin I'm just now seeing this...I'm so sorry poor Teddy had such a scare. Poor little guy:( |
Poor Teddy. It's so hard when they are scared of noises. Bubba doesn't like noise. July 4th our tv is up loud and the curtains are closed so he does see the flashes-the same with storms. I hope they have passed out of your area. They are still here in NJ area. |
Poor Teddy! Maybe you can make a nice get-away in the closet for him. Any loud noise, Turbo retreats under my bed. I have to be careful not to make any clanging noises when washing pots, he gets scared of that too...it all started w/the fireworks. Cwazzie weather we're having, raining in the east, snow in Colorado & 100 degrees here in So. Ca! |
Thank you everyone! Luckily the weatherman was wrong and we ended up having a beautiful Friday, sun and 70 degrees. Teddy enjoyed a great outing and a long walk this afternoon. He is a very happy boy. :) |
aawww, we know how he feels. Maggie went from room to room the other night when we had bad storms. Maggie is bothered by loud noises such as the smoke alarms, the one noise that really bothers her is the sound the TV makes when the power goes out. I've looked high and low for our thunder shirt, I suppose I need to purchase another one. I hope neither of us have any storms for a while. |
Poor lil Teddy, my last girl now past was like that. The slightest power surge would set her off. I know just what lil Teddy is going through. Happy to see today was a better day. |
Poor Teddy. Rosie said to tell him she understands. She has been having some storm fears herself. Give him hugs and kisses from me and my girls. |
I'm so happy that Teddy had a great day today. I used to have such anxiety when it rained, because my Rainbow Bridge babies had an intense fear of thunderstorms which then generalized to rain. My first Yorkie couldn't be found one July 4th when we were at my sister in law's house. We finally found her hiding behind the washing machine. I now am anxious when it looks like rain because Katie counts on her walks each day. We walk in light rain, and I hate when we are unable to go on our walks. They have become mini marathons of at least an hour, most days much longer. It's amazing how much our lives revolve around our little girl and everything we do to try to make her healthy, exercised, and happy. Please give Teddy and Max extra kisses from Katie and me. |
Awww.....glad to hear teddy is doing better today. Ricky hides under the coffee table and in the closet. Ive panicked a few times when I couldn't find him because he was hiding so well in the closet. We've had some nasty storms near us lately too. I was actually going to take my car into the shop on monday when they announced that a tornado had touched down near us. I ended up turning right around because I didn't want to leave the boys home alone. They aren't super scared of storms but I wanted to be there just in case I had to take them to the basesment. |
Hope Teddy and Max have a quiet and sunny week-end. It's nice here so my fingers are crossed that you are having nice weather as well. I am dreading Memorial Day and the other upcoming holidays where the fireworks will send us to the closet. |
Awwww, poor Teddy, little feller :(. No fair to get so scared for such a precious one! You must\'ve been so frantic when looking for him too. Hope he feeling more himself today and feeling good and bold to take on the Saturday! Hugs to the little one! |
