| I can't say for sure how long it would be secure. I can tell you that I never leave a topknot in for more than 12 hours. The little darlings are busy and the hair moves around on the band and it will start to break little hairs if left in for a long time and you will end up with a mess and more broken hair than you would believe. We use latex free bands and they have a smoother surface than the rubber ones do but I still take them out and redo the topknot frequently. I usually use a tiny scrunchie at night time. |

| I comb out Bogey's hair every day and fix his topknot. If you leave it in too long the hair starts to break.
