| Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator  | Happy May day! When I was little, we used to bring little treats to our neighbors on May Day, in a cone-shaped piece of rolled paper. Did anyone else used to do that? It's some kind of tradition, but I don't know where it comes from...

| By the way, 'over here', especially in the county of Cornwall, May Day has very pagan roots....re-birth, new beginnings etc.... The Golden Lion Hotel, Padstow, Cornwall

| Yes, we would deliver May Day Basket full of candy and stuff to our friends. We'd put on the doorstep, ring bell and run away. We'd have parties at school, ah to be young again. I think it was a German custom. |

| All we ever did for May Day was make those May Poles, dance around them and have Field Day on 5-1 with lots of track and field contests. Happy May Day all!!!
