What are they thinking I was looking a a cute dog vest harness for Galen. It was cute. Not very expensive material, micro suede and nothing too crazy detail. It had a skull and a few studs on it. Really no big deal. The person wanted around $160 for it . . . . Now they have a girl harness with a lot more work on it . . . ribbons, bow, beading and a skirt and it is around $140. Now the first thing . . Both are really expensive for the items. Second why is the girls cheaper then the boys. And it really upsets me that they are charging so much more for the little boy harness and for nothing. I really need to start to sew again. I can put Haute Couture on my items. . . |

I hear what you are saying. When I bought Cali's stroller the pink/rose color (that I did not want) was $40 less than the same stroller that was aqua colored. Go figure! |

I did not pay that much for my car ! LOL |
That doesn't make any sense at all, at first I was wondering if the boys used more expensive stuff but after looking at it I highly doubt it. The boys one is cute, but defiantly not worth the money, the girls one is tacky/gaudy in a bad way, and I love the $$$ one. |

I can see where crystals, certain fabrics, and intense hand work increase the price, but the $$$ prices of these items also reminds me of a story I read about Martha Stewart in her early days . . . . She was selling home baked pies at a local market and had a price tag of $5 on them. No one would buy. Fed up, she changed the price to something like $20. Suddenly, the pies started selling faster than she could make them. The pies seemed better or more like a luxury at a higher price. Higher prices create an aura of exclusivity and specialness. |
