I have the Snoozer Lookout II and I have been very happy with it. Sophie Kate will jump right into the seat with no problem. One thing I would like to remind everyone is these seats should be in the backseat of your car. If they are in the front you need to make sure the driver side airbags are not engaged (with my car the airbags are disabled for anything under 45 lbs). |
We have 2 of the Snoozer Look-out seats..... a oversized one for the boys and a regular size for Shelby. They work for us. Thank you for posting, I am going to read up on some of the info that you posted. Enjoy that new puppy!!! |
Yes I ended up liking the Snoozer Lookout Luxury 1. After ordering 4 different ones… The snoozer !!!I think is the best !!! |
The Snoozer is great for around town driving but I have to tell you that when we are doing some real highway traveling my baby is in a hard carrier that is strapped into the backseat securely. They sell special straps for putting around your carrier for extra security. I used to work as a paramedic and I can tell you that the kind of force that occurs during an MVA at speeds over 35mph would do some real damage to a dog on a loose tether. And pets that are loose in a vehicle are....well, it's just very sad. They become a projectile within the vehicle. My baby loves to go for rides around town but I could never forgive myself if I took her anywhere else not properly strapped in. |

I have seen the results of these accidents way too many times. Even humans strapped in are horribly injured in highway accidents at high speeds. I have seen pets survive in carriers where their owners did not. |
