| Walking Your Dog I'd like to take my pup for walks, but I'm not sure how far he can go. He's 5 months old and 3.5 pounds. I guess I could always carry him if he got too tired. What's the farthest you have walked your dog? |

| My little guy is 10 weeks old and we've taken him for a short 10 min walk twice now. About half way he stopped and sat down looking up at me. I picked him up and he snuggled into my arms. I put him back down when we were almost back home and he did fine. It sure did tucker him out. He slept good in his crate that night without crying! |

| Our yorkie is 15 weeks old - 6 pounds already! We take him on for at least one 15 minute walk a day. Sometimes even two walks! He sleeps so well when we do that. =) |

| My pup is 6 months old and almsot 4lbs. I take him on about two 10 minute walks a day (jsut so he get get some fresh air). My Boy friend takes him on runs a couple times a week and he loves it. When he is not in the mood, or wants to go back home he will just stop walking or running and sit. we get the hint. |

| The farthest we have taken Esme is around the block. She LOVES it and wants to run the whole way! I figured that she would just stop or slow down when she was too tired and I would just carry her. But, until now, that has never happened! Esme is a little over 4 months and 3.5lbs.

| I've taken Meeko and Molly for a slow paced 30 minute walk since he was 3 months young. He loves it. I've been watching the "Dog Whisperer" on the National Geographic Explorer Channel. It has helped me learn how is the proper way of walking my two furbabies. They love it!!!!

| Luigi loves his walks!!!! We started out 5 min. and everyday we'd add a few more mins!!!! Now we walk 1/2 hr or 45 mins. Actually he'd rather run if it were up to him!!! He is almost 6 monthes now!!!! So before too long it will be even longer walks and this was all in 30* weather. I am sure that when it starts to get nicer out he'll want to be outside even more!!!! |

| i used to think buckeye was not strong enough to handle a long walk. I soon learned that I was not able to handle as much of a walk as he could. he has a destination in mind and he is going to get there as fast as he can. he takes me for the walk. ahia, on the other hand, is slow in her walking (she is twice the size of Buckeye). Buckeye used to start out walking and when he found a nice soft grassy yard he thought he could enjoy he would just lay down. i would have to just pick him up and carry him. i have been thinking about buying him his own golf cart. LOL
