So we are going to have the patellas fixed once school is out and I can be home with Gracie. In the meanwhile, we will have her spayed. I really liked the surgeon, and everyone there oohed and aahed over her endlessly. I am comfortable about the situation and glad that both can be fixed at once. Surgeon says it makes rehab easier. Thanks again for all of the help. I am sure I will start a thread to bore everyone with the details when she has the surgery. |
Amy has LP and is grades at a IV. She will be 2 this August. She did have trouble putting her left back leg down and the vet did x-rays and told us what she had and gave us rymaldol (can't spell it) and kept her on it a couple of weeks and she began putting her leg down. He said we didn't need to see a surgeon yet but some time we might have to. She does zoomies around the house every day and jumps on the couch with no problem at all. She acts like a wild child. We do watch her all the time to see if she can't walk on the back leg and so far she is just fine. She sees the vet every 6 months for him to just check he out. |
