| New to Yorkie Talk Hello There is a box at the top of my page advising me to say hello so I thought I would do just that. I was searching the web for some answers to some things that had come up with my yorkie and found this site. I thought it might be a good idea to join, see if others have come across similar things, and have the chance to interact with people who love their dogs as much as I do mine. I'm a 26 year old Canadian newly wed. I have two dogs. Milo is my overgrown yorkie. My parents adopted him when he was around 10 months old. Out of his seven years of life he's been with me for a bit more than five. He's about 15 lbs with floppy ears. He also has his full tail intact. He's a bit of an awkward pup, but that's why I love him. Often I will catch him sitting in corners staring at the wall or doing dog yoga (He does the downward facing dog pose for a few minutes at a time) When we take him for walks he makes noises like a monkey. He's very fond of men. Despite being my dog for so long, his loyalty is to my husband, who might I add has only been around for two years. We also have a Golden Retriever named Swarley. We bought him on a farm as a puppy. He turns 2 at the end of May. He's small for a retriever which is funny because Milo is big for a yorkie. He's a very laid back and mellow boy. We really got lucky when it comes to dogs. My husband and I love our boys. Milo has never been one to play until recently. He has always been around other animals and seems to tolerate them but would prefer a humans lap. Now that Swarley is about full grown though I've noticed them playing a fair bit which I find pretty exciting. Sorry for such a long post! I just love talking about my boys. I look forward to getting to know all of you and your little guys! |

| This is my Milo http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l2...17791951_n.jpg http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l2...72636282_n.jpg This is Swarley http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l2...70868581_n.jpg http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l2...34383607_n.jpg I didn't realize that the yoga was a yorkie thing! That's pretty cool. Some times he'll stay in that pose for a good five minutes. Odd! |
