| A quick project for my guys... Hey guys, So Molly and Mike are pretty much fully house/potty trained but I was having these little problem, when ever we have them with us in the bed, being so tiny we would have to be watching really close for any signs of them wanting to go to do their stuff, other wise they didn't know what to do and started moaning. So my solution was to teach them to go up and down of the bed on their own but, again they are too tiny to jump down so as a test I placed two pillows in a kind of 2 steps stairs configuration so they could learn to climb up and step down from the bed at will, and it did work, but the pillows don't really give the room a good aspect. So I started looking for some steps that I could use but either the steps where too high or too narrow for them to use them comfortable. So I have some spare time today at work and the guy at the factory where nice enough to help me to manufacture a set of custom steps/stairs for mike and molly. They are made of plywood as a frame and then wrapped in core-foam so it is comfortable at the touch and finally upholstered with black leather so it looks nice in the room. I think we did a good job :-) .... Anything for my guys... Mike and Molly. Some pictures of the process in case you where wondering... |

| I have a few stairs around my house. I bought them at CVS for $10.00. I need to buy an extra set to leave at my dads because I always forget them when I go home. I'd love to make dog furniture. I've got a few ideas rattling around my brain and hope to get to try them out this summer!! |

| Wow, those look fantastic. Do you know how much you would have to pay for those if you could even find them somewhere!!! Someone is very talented.

| Your stIrs are very nice looking! My bed is really tall, but I have some foam stairs that I ordered- don't remember where, but have seen them advertised. I like the foam because if she ever stumbled the stairs are soft. They come in different heights.

| Tks guys, I am not really sure how much would it cost to build one of these, I already had all materials available at work. And of course I had to get the seal of approval from Mike and Molly... I think they approve :-) ... Last edited by miguelCG78; 03-28-2014 at 11:42 PM. |
