Great pic! Those are the same reasons I ended up getting a stroller, also. Was afraid Cali was going to get stepped on, plus her little paws have trouble with gravel. |
we have one and it works perfectly when there are large crowds!! good decision. :) |

I'm thrilled to hear Henri has a Buddy Belt! One more safe and secure baby. ;) |
I have two exactly the same one in MI and one in NY and they are the cheap ones, I got it for the same reason you want one, plus it makes for a perfect bed when the pup gets tired at an event. Teri and I were out together in New York City and hers definitely rolls much much better than mine. I got stuck in some snow but hers rolled through it with no problem. But on the flip side, I was not keen on how shallow the compartment the dog sits in is. Galen is much smaller then Henri, I am thinking that perhaps that model might not be deep enough for Henri. I like to use my stroller without Lola being under the zippered cover. I would be afraid that if I tipped it a little I might dump her out. Her is a picture from Facebook of them side by side and you can see the dog compartment on mine is much deeper. So in looking at strollers pay attention to not only how they roll but also how you would like you dog to be positioned in it. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...type=3&theater for reference when looking at the picture the compartment on the green stroller ends right above where you see the brand written. The compartment on my stroller is not only lower but you can see it's much deeper |
DBlain is right, the compartment on the cheap stroller is really big. My aunt and I took Lola outlet shopping and she bought 3 pairs of sneakers in medium sized boxes. I put the shoe boxes stacked in the back of the compartment and left Lola in the front half. There was still enough room for 5.5lb Lola, the cheapy dog bed I keep in her stroller, a blanket under her, and a blanket wrapped around her. She still had enough room to lay down most of the way and go side to side. |
below is the one I have, I paid about $50.00 for it delivered. I would not want to do an athletic walk with it, but I have been to Renn. Festival which is dirt, outdoor and indoor events and some events in parks. It has held Lola and my sisters yorkie easily and they both can lay down or sit up comfortably. If you are going to walk several miles at a time with the stroller then get a better one than mine, but if you mainly want it for safety at an event save some money and get an inexpensive one ![]() |

do you have the same one as I do, I believe it's called Best Pet Lola loves being in it and so does my sister's dog, they seem to feel very safe. The last time we were at the Ren. Festival it was very crowded and Lola had it with people making a fuss over her. I was sitting on a bench taking a rest and Lola was at my feet, all of a sudden I see her climbing into the lower parcel carrier compartment, she pushed in on top of some stuff I bought. LOL she could not reach the carrier portion, but she wanted to get away from the crowds. You are right about space, I often put my purse and some bags in the compartment along with Lola and there seems to be plenty of room. |
Yeah I have the same one. |
After reading these posts I so want to buy a stroller but I have a lot of looking at them before I decide which one to get. Going to start googling them that have been in the posts to see what one I would like for her. You have given me a lot to think about. |
The company that made the dogger asked stroller owners what they liked and didn't like about dog strollers and they made one with those recommondations. There is a few people here that have bigger pups and have the Dogger. The actual length of the bed is longer in the dogger though then the zebra one. I can easily fit three or four dogs in it. Also the front goes up and down easily so the dogs can climb in. I have never tipped the stroller over while using it. It even has shock absorbers. I have gone on curbs, snow, ice, hills and rock. Check out the site and I think LilSis still sells it. You can ask her also about it. Dogger? -The SUV of Dog Strollers |

That's funny you just posted about stroller sizes because I was just looking up dimensions to compare my old Best Pet stroller to my new Promenade. I thought I'd post it in case it would help someone who might be concerned about sizes. I also wanted to correct something I posted a few nights ago. I said that Yazmin's zebra stroller was made by Pet Gear when actually it's made by Best Pet. At the time, I was so exhausted I wasn't thinking clearly. Lol Best Pet Stroller Maximum Pet Weight: 30 lbs. Interior Dimensions: 21" Long x 13.5" Wide x 20" High Attachment 397673 Promenade Pet Stroller Maximum Pet Weight: 50 lbs. Interior Dimensions: 25" Long x 13" Wide x 21.5" High As you can see, Yazmin's Promenade has enough room for a Buddy! :D |

I looked at the photo again of Lola and Galen in their strollers sided by side, Galen's may be 20" tall as the web site says, it may look different because it sits taller. IDK but Galen sure look cute! BTW, Lola looks stunning in stroller also and I love her bow! ;) Oh My! I remember all the research I done when looking for my second stroller, what a nightmare! Lol I believe the life of each stroller will depend a lot on where a person wants to use it and how often it's used. The hard part of comparing strollers is that we all may have different needs. One pup, two and etc... :) |
I love using a stroller. Two things to note, the more screening on the stroller the easier it is for a dog to break out. The other issue is the zippers. Many of them are cheaply constructed and break. Therefore, I have had two or three strollers go bad because of the zipper. |
