ok thank you |
yoou seem like you want to learn and you are trying hard to get along with peoplee on here even though they are telling .some things you probably dont want to hear. I am letting you know this as kindly as I can. There are alot of risks to breeding and not alot of reward. Good breeders say they are lucky to break even. The first thing you would need to do is have her evaluated by a show breeder to see if she is breed wortlhy. Then if she is you would have to go through health testing to make sure she cant pass on some genetic problem to her pups. Most yorkies are not breed worthy although they are valuable to their owners as pets. So I hope you do some soul searching and decide your girl means more to you as a pet rather than a money maker |
yeah I will ask my vets to see who can do testing for breeding and genetics and she isn't as small shes 5 pounds. her mother and father grandma never had issues but just in case I will test her t whatever costs.and if she cant I willl keep her as a spoiled doggy. thank you |
I'm going to be as polite as I can when I say this. You should not even be considering breeding your dog. You have no idea what you're doing, you have not had any testing done, your girl is maybe 5 pounds, which is too small to breed nd honestly, your story is all over the place..... You say you don't want to breed her until after she's been shown, yet she supposedly has a full tail, which means she can't be shown-you haven't started her in any conformation classes, you can't tell us anything about her lines or her parents lines. Oh and you posted a picture of a dog with a full tail that you downloaded off another website and it's clearly not the same dog as your profile picture. So, what gives??? Why can't you get your story straight?? How old is your dog? Is it a male or a female? How much does it weigh? Who was your breeder? What city and state is the breeder in? Does your dog have a docked tail or not? Do your dog a favor and have her spayed. |

my dogs name kari 1 year old not docked tail female breeders are my old show partners when we had roni I really think it would be god to spay her cause when you think about it too many risks and tons of money I also have another one but shes from a shelter her name is alta she is 4 years of age though |

Is she 1 year or 10 months old? You've said both ages and we are all confused. Your breeders name???? Show partners??? If you had show partners, you would know you can't show AKC dogs with a full tail so your whole "I wanna show her and breed her later" story is not standing up.... |

my old dog roni had a tail docked and pointed ears |
I guess you aren't understanding. Show partners mean you and someone else showing a dog. In order to show a dog, you would know 1. The breed standard, meaning tails, ears, size, weight, temperament, etc. And 2. That your dog needs to be already in conformation classes and already in the ring at 10 months/ 1 year of age. If you had a previous dog that you showed, you would know about heat cycles.... Your stories and posts aren't adding up and because of other people who come on here and start drama, we regular members pick up on things that don't add up and begin to question it.....we're just asking you to explain so we understand. |
