Pickles was "stalked" by an owl at my parents' house over at the beach. I grabbed him and hid him under my jacket and walked back to the house (wanted to run, but didn't want to amp up Mr. Owl anymore than he was already). It was scary! We've also had a hawk interested when P and P are in our back yard - and we live in San Jose, a large kind of urban city. We don't ever let them out alone and supervise closely when they're in our back yard. They're leashed anywhere else we go outside.
| Yes, owls will stalk. They will follow you flying from tree to tree. I used . to walk my dog early in the morning before work. Those huge owls are totally silent when they fly. Very eerie.
I don't have to go out that early any more but owls are often still hunting a couple of hours after sun up. |
