| ![]() Just stumbled across an app called Hungry Pet. It is pretty much a database of good and bad foids for dogs and cats. For example: My dog is begging while I eat raisins. Hmm, I would think raisins are natural and healthy...probably fine for Fido. Let me look that up on Hungry Pet just to be sure... WHOA! So glad I did! Grapes and Raisins are high risk foods for dogs. (Yes, I already knew that...it was just for dramatic purposes) The app also can bring up local vets and er vets in case Fido ate something that turned out to be an emergency. Thought some might find it useful so wanted to share. ![]()

| ![]() That is interesting. Anything that gets people to be more informed is a good thing. Yes, raisins and grapes have been known to kill dogs by shutting down the kidneys. |

| ![]() I thought it was great, too. Even though most of us here are aware of the danger foods, until I came to this forum...I had no idea how bad grapes and raisins were. That's why I wanted to use it in my example. The google maps type thing they have for local vets is good, too, I thought. Especially if you are travelling and don't know the area very well.
