Missing Yorkie
 

I feel like I am coming apart at the seems! My Yorkie has been missing for 7 days now. In my eyes he is my child, and i feel so helpless. I have done everything i can think of. I have walked and driven every street withing a 5 mile radius of my home. I have LARGE Bright posters at intersections withing a large radius around my home. I have gone door to door and passed out over 400 fliers by hand. I have posted lost adds in newspapers. I have visited the pound every day. I have contacted the humane society, and check rescue group pages every day. I have posted missing ads online. I check the papers and online to see if he has been found or if someone may be trying to sell him. I have talked to road crews about wether they have seen him and what animals they have collected off the road. I have looked in every ditch and side of every road around this area for him.

If anyone is nearby me please keep an eye out for him. I am in Cumming Georgia. His name is Charlie. He is silver and tan and wieghs 8 lbs. He is 8 yeas old and has 1 floppy ear. He went missing on Dec 27th around 8am in the Greenwood Acres subdivision. He is neutered, and was wearing an innotek pet collar with a red fire hydrant tag that has all his contact info.

Scott, I'm so sorry to hear your Charlie is missing!! I am hoping for a miracle for you that Charlie will wind up safe in your arms.

There are also community bulletin boards you might be able to put a poster on in places like laundromats, grocery stores, and maybe banks. Anyplace a lot of people go on a regular basis.

Oh, Scott! How horrible! I hope that you find Charlie soon. He must be terrified wherever he is. :(

You have probably done this, but have you called the vets in your area? They may have a lost/found bulletin board or something. That's how I found mine. I went by and left pics and reward notices and someone saw it and called the vet about her and I got her back.

Oh, I'm so sorry, but maybe someone in the neighborhood found him - get the neighbor kids to look/ask - kids are the best way to find a dog fast. I called parents of kids in my neighborhood. I sure hope you find him. I'm so sorry.

We hope Charlie finds his way home soon.

Oh Gosh! I can't imigine how you feel! Keep asking and looking, though--never give up. Someone has him, I'm sure. If he were hit by a car, I would think with his collar on they would have told you about it. DON'T GIVE UP!

I'm so sorry about Charlie. I hope you find each other again. Not knowing can work on people. I wish there was something I could do to help. It looks as though you've worn yourself out doing everything within your power. Pleas let us know if you find him.

is there anyway someone has taken him in and still has him because they dont realise your looking for your baby

This is very sad. the only advice I can give is GO DOOR TO DOOR. Maybe someone has him in their home - a person found him, loved his little face and kept him. that's how my aunt found her cocker when she ran away as a puppy. someone tried to keep her...

Yes I forgot to mention that i have been to all the vets and given them flyers.

Thanks for all your prayers and support. I am going to keep on looking. I could never just give up on him. He is the best dog I have ever had. I posted an ad in craigslist also, and have been watching there everyday too. Again thanks you all! I will let you know what happens.

I am so sorry! Is there any way for you to get some media attention. Local paper not in the lost and found or a local Tv station that way if someone has him and someone knows they may contact you. Good luck I will be praying for a happy outcome!

Oh :( this is my worst nightmare as my Yorkie likes to adventure outside the house and down the street if I dont watch. But you must be a very strong person to keep it together like that. I know if I lost my Yorkie I would go into a panic attack and probably have to be tranquilized.

If it were me, I would be walking door to door, to every house in the area. I would be calling all radio and news station.

I will pray that you get him back safely. Keep us updated!

omg I can\'t imagine what you are going through...How close are you from Dalton Ga? I have lots of family there and they are animal lovers and would do whatever you needed them to to help. I will pray for you and Charlie!!! My heart is breaking for you. How scared he must be without you. God bless both of you.
