How does your Yorkie let you know when it's time to go outside?? I've noticed that lately Charlie has been growling at me when he's ready for his walk. LOL It's pretty cute. How does yours let you know it's time to go out. Either for a walk, or just let you know it's time to go out period? |
Ricky doesn't let me know...but Princeton has a few ways. When he wants something he will paw at me or paw at it....the door to go out...the fridge for food....his treat shelf or my nightstand for treats. He will also keep looking at what he wants and then me and then back to what he wants. He's also got this low growl type talk that he uses when he wants something. He's very creative and he's very good at getting my attention to get what he wants. |

My two "go" in a fenced side yard. Ziva "grumbles" at the garage door, Abby kicks a little set of bells I have thumbtacked to the baseboard. |
Toby grumbles at the gate when he has to go #1. When he has to go #2 he just stands at the gate with his back hunched up and looks miserable. |
During the day Bentley will do a little bark and Baxter, my Boxer will sit where his leash is and look up at it! lol Bentley in the middle of night if he has to go out, walks up from the end of the bed and does a low growl. Always fun to be woken up and have to go out especially in 7 degree weather! |
:D Harry rushes up to me and bashes me on the back of my knees, usually when I'm in the kitchen cooking, and he's quite big so it makes my knees buckle and I crash into the work-top...and then rushes to the back door :D Sally + Harry x |

Mine all come to wherever I am. They will either sit down and just stare intensely at me or stand up on the edge of the chair/couch or whatever I'm sitting on and just stare intensely right at me as to say "come already' get your butt women ! Than they corral me into the kitchen and over to the door by nudging me the entire way with their cold little noses. |
I have a Doggy Door which is accessible to my guys 24/7, so, I don't have to worry about potty issues. However, when they want to access something else, My Males use the "stare" method, and My Females push their noses against what (like a door) they want to access. |

Bevo will sit there and look and you then go to the back door or you do not see him heding for the door he will come back and try to lick you head back to the door . Abby will bark then head to the door and bark at the door |

The growl is one of Gracie's way of communicating that she needs something. Usually she wants me to get something for her. Generally she barks when she wants to go out though, especially when I have not been paying attention as she feels I should.:rolleyes: |
