| about to go insane!!! So both of my females are in heat.. -_- at the same time. Both of my males are going insane. Trying to show dominance over one another. Humping everything!! even my 14 yr old sheltie !! ( she didn't allow that and nipped it in the butt quick!) I have the wraps on the boys, and the diapers on the girls, they go in separate runs, and are separated in the house, so all precautions are being taken so no oops are made! But the smell of the boys from marking their scent everywhere.. OMG!! they smell like a skunk.. (the wraps are keeping my carpets and couches and walls safe) But GOOD LORD they stink! They are getting a bath every other day! mostly with just an oatmeal aloe conditioner because I don't want to dry out their skin.. but if it isn't the smell.. its the howling. 3am this morning!! I never knew they could howl.. or did howl.. but they decided 3 am was the perfect time to start! I am counting down the days till I can get them ALL fixed. I feel like I am going insane.. -_- |

YT 2000 Club Member | dog Is there a man in the house? My husband would be nuts by now. Not me, I dogs and what is a little hassle in the house? Just take a break, and keep all dogs under control. I hope you are sitting down some and not stressing. |

YT 2000 Club Member | dog I re-read your post and tried to picture the action going on. Howling is not cute and I know you are losing sleep. Now when you love a Yorkie you do so much for them! I would, Bless you for loving them and letting them be dogs! |

| Haha if she's not I don't care lol I will take them to be fixed asap with or without her permission. Lol my father already gave me his. They're not my yorkies lol I have two shelties. But since I live here I treat the yorkies as my babies as well. Its a 6 dog pack here lol they all love each other. My sheltie is scheduled to be fixed in Jan. I'm calling next week to schedule the yorkies. |

| Aww.. I'm sorry you're losing sleep and having to deal with the odors. And.. I'm sorry, but just reading your post made me laugh. LOL The way you make it sound sort of shows how much you love them to deal with all that. Magnus and Zoey are supposed to be my mom's dogs. But like you, I do everything so I can totally relate to your situation. I hope you get some decent sleep soon! |

| Haha I'm glad someone got a laugh about it. Hopefully I can look back in a week and laugh about it as well. I've never had male dogs before these yorkies. Only females. And omg. I will stick to females after this! Lol my dad wants to board the males till the females go out of heat... But I don't have the heart to do that. I'll just suck it up till its over lol |

| Its already been three weeks for one female and two for the other. They are only after the one so I believe the other is done. I called the vet and they only have openings for Jan.through next year. They won't be boarded. My vet said if the males get to anxious and start to become a nuisance or seem to stress themselves out he can prescribe a mild sedative. But I don't want to dope my dogs up for them being dogs. -_- I will eventually catch up on my sleep lol |
