| Bailey ate birth control pills I have reminded my daughter, in her 20's, many times to zip her purse up, which she keeps on the floor in the house. While I was away, I got a phone call from her that Bailey had gotten into her purse and eaten 10 of her birth control pills! She immediately took him to the vet's and they gave him something to make him throw up. It was a $450 mistake. Guess who won't keep her purse open any more? BTW Bailey is fine and he never missed a beat. |

| We have had two dogs that could open zippers it might be best to put the purse up where no dogs can get to it at all.

| Oh my! So happy to hear she is okay! Very expensive mistake.. just make sure she gets her birthcontrol pills refilled.. she wouldn't want another mistake(unless they are wanting a llittle one) hehe.. Two of my furbabies used to get into my purse if I left it for them to get into. Bobo could even unzip it! I finally had to get into the habit of putting up to where they couldn't reach it. So happy the little furbutt is okay! Hope you had a great Thanksgiving! God Bless!

YT 2000 Club Member | dog We know Yorkies are into everything and I am so thankful Bailey is ok. Never leave anything where a Yorkie can get to it. They can jump onto tables, push chairs, grab something so fast you cannot catch them. Just be one step ahead and prevent a terrible accident. |

| Thank goodness Bailey is okay! I'm glad your daughter got him to the vet right away. I made my father move all of his medicine to the bathroom (that the dogs don't have access to) after he dropped a pill in the kitchen a couple weeks ago. Too dangerous!

| You might warn your daughter that little boy dogs LOVE to mark objects that they consider theirs. I have lived with up to 5 male dogs in my house at one time and when ladies come in my house and put their favorite purse on the floor I tell them the truth. If they value the purse and its contents then they will please put it on a counter or table. |

Now that would be a teachable moment for sure! Thanks for the heads up on that. So far Bailey hasn't done that, but you know Yorkies - you never know what they are up to... and sometimes you only do after they have done it. | |

| My 20yr old son will leave his shoes in my foyer and everytime he does,my little boy poodle (12yrs and 9lbs) will happially fill them up. I don't even fuss at the dog because I have told my son to take his shoes to his room. |

| You have to be so careful when you have a puppy around. Last time I did that, my dog ate my wallet with all my credit cards and my drivers licence. I'm now super carefull. I was telling my friend about what happened and she didn't learn anything, she left her pocketbook on her bed opened wide and her dog ate her cell phone. |
