He started humping all the toys and of course....did not use the pee pad. Why is he humping?

Well stress be my best guess.
He in a new place with new toys and new everything.
The best way to lower the stress for him is to get some endorphins flowing and he knows he can do it by humping.
Give him time to settle in and also try to give him a lower stress level.
Kennel time is good for feeling safe and lowering stress sometimes.
If he is kennel trained that is.
I would keep the excitement and visitors to a low level till he is more comfortable.

This has nothing to do with anything really but I have posted before about Smuder. When we go out to work we make sure he has lots of his toys and i hide treats around the kitchen etc

When we get home without fail he has put every single toy IN his bed! lol

He must lie on the floor all day coz his bed is piled high with them lol it's so funny

Sorry your breeder didn't give you some familiar object or toy. He is overcome by newness and the stress of so much all at once. I agree to just take it really slow and easy and keep company to a minimum til he gets settled in. It is so hard to resist showing our new babies off but it has to be done.
Congrats on your new addition and keep us posted..

Im sorry I just had to say that. I really dont know whay they do that and I wish I could be more helpful.

The breeder did give us toys, a blankie, a pee pad, food, a bowl...tons of stuff....but my kids of course wanted to give them his presents, which were much bigger than he is used too!
